In answer to Ana Solveyne: It may be the "Cadenza ad lib" part, the last bar of page 17. Here the performer can decide on the cadenza to transition to the next theme.

This is among the top hardest piano solo pieces, and is very rewarding to perform and listen to.

A list of pieces more challenging. Not as loved albeit but technically more difficult...
*Frederic Rzewski's The People United Will Never Be Defeated
*Alkan's Comme Le Vent and a few othersd by him.
*Chopin-op. 10 set, I would say no. 2. Out of the op. 25 set
*Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No.2
*Liszt Etude No.4 Mazeppa
And some others.

Any piece can be played, but played well? To simply play the notes is not impressive. To play them as an artist, now that is the challenge truly!
Something played so beautifully, you weep!
Settle for nothing less.
I dare anyone who says they are a great player, to find a simple piece and play it so masterfully, as to make anyone cry out bravo!...instead of being bored by the same old piece. Play masterfully anything.
ANYONE can be a performing monkey machine!

I love the ending!
But why, in every sheet music has not written about a part that Goldstein played, in the last-part? not the last, but, the soft part in the near ending.
*My english was terrible! Sorry about that*

Did you see how hands struggling to play this piece? but i think Goldstein play it a little bit slow(just in some parts)
Liszt created many of pieces that includes the most famous piano pieces.
You can hear this piece on one's of Tom&Jerry cartoon series! remember, only virtuosos that can play this.

As a Virtuoso, i said this piece was defficult to play and needs long fingers!i've try it when i was young, and i cannot reach from one to one others in the left hands. but now, im a Virtuoso, but i still said this was the one difficult piece.

Intermediate-advanced? This angers me - no intermediate-advanced player will ever hope to play this in a satisfactory way. This is considered one of the most technically challenging pieces of all piano repertoire. I've been finding that a lot of mediocre pianists have a hard time accurately judging their own skill-level.

this website is a great way to get sheet music without having to pay. in my opinion i dont think you should have to buy music. i love learning, playing, and reading music,but i dont have a job yet so i can't pay for them myself and my parents dont have alot of money at the moment. music is a big part of my life and i dont think i could live without it. its a great way to express your feelings as well. i first heard this song on tom and jerry and thought it sounded fascinating. so i wanted to learn how to play it.

I got this mostly to study notation, I'm not near ready to play this in it's entirety, but I intend to learn how to play it some day and in the mean time, it'll be useful to study composition. Thank you so much, I love this piece.
