One of 14 pieces known collectively as the 'Enigma Variations’ (1898 99) Nimrod was inspired by Elgar's close friend the music editor Augustus J. Jaeger.A piece commonly used at funerals memorial services and other solemn occasions Nimrod is arranged here for Brass Tentet (four Trumpets one Horn four Trombones and one Tuba).Additional parts are included for Piccolo Trumpet Horn in Eb Trombones in treble clef and Eb Bass.
