Format : Sheet music Haydn composed the C Major Cello Concerto between 1762 and 1765 almost certainly for cellist Joseph Weigl of the Esterházy Orchestra. The complete autograph score has never been found but orchestral parts were discovered in 1961 in the Prague National Museum.
