Introduced by a poem by Henri de Régnier which is about the falling rain and a wet garden this piece starts by some natural harmonies symbolising the sound of the rain and some glissandi. The first movement then starts followed by some variations along the piece. Jacques De La Presle (1888-1969) is a Frenchprofessor and composer. He won the Second Prix de Rome and composed notable pieces for Organ.
