Mendelssohn published the version for organ as “Drei geistliche Lieder” [CV 40. 166/03]. The version with orchestra appeared under the title “Hymne für Altsolo, Chor und Orchester” [CV 40. 166] and it contained, in addition to the three sacred songs, a concluding fugue.
