The first part of this anthology deals with a selections of easy progressive studies for small hands from 24 Piccoli studi facili e progressivi and 15 Studi facili per le piccole mani (positions of the five fingers, studies on playing two and three notes, alternating hands, overall agility, broken thirds, on the agility of the 4th and 5th fingers, on scales and chords and so on). The second part comprises 'mini compositions' taken from three collections of undoubted aesthetic value: Piccole scintille, Pagine minuscole, Pinocchio.

Der erste Teil dieser Anthologie beinhaltet eine Auswahl aus leichten, im Schwierigkeitsgrad ansteigenden Studien fur kleine Hande aus 24 Piccoli studi facili e progressivi und 15 Studi facili per le piccole mani (Funf-Finger-Position, Studien mit zwei oder drei Noten, Handwechsel, allgemeine Beweglichkeit, gebrochene Terzen, die Beweglichhkeit des 4. Und 5. Fingers, Tonleitern, Akkorde u. v. m.). Der zweite Teil umfasst Mini-Kompositionen aus drei verschiedenen Sammlungen, die zweifellos von hohem asthestischen Wert sind: Piccole scintille, Pagine minuscole, Pinocchio.
