A quite different (unusual) and interesting structure on this tune. The first "A" section is 26 bars long (2 x's 13!), consisting of mostly melodic figures for the first 7 bars and "2" for 5 bars and a 1 bar break. The "B" section is 28 bars. It's configuration is 6 bars in "4", 3 bars of offbeat pushes in "2" (melodic), a whole note for 1 bar, a 16 bar latin vamp, in bar 27 and bar 28 is a break!! I told you it was interesting! Horace's tempo is a half note = 100 approx. but we play it slightly faster. The jazz chorus's are "4" for 6 bars and "2" for 7 bars repeated and then the rest as the "head". Scored for A,T,T, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, and Rhythm. No score.
