Pre-shipment lead time: On orderRachmaninoff's set of variations, originally composed in 1931 for piano solo, are here arranged by the Rumanian conductor Corneliu Dumbraveanu for chamber orchestra. This arrangement has been programmed regularly by Neeme Järvi, including in 2012 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in an all-Rachmaninoff programme, and can be heard on his 1994 Chandos recording with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
