Trombone Quintet - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Pearce, Kenneth. Arranged by iTromboni. Jazz, Blues, Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova. Score, Set of Parts. 19 pages. Published by Cherry Classics Music
Barumba is an original composition by former iTromboni Bass Trombonist Kenneth Pearce. It was the very first original composition written for the ensemble. <br> <br> Barumba is a light hearted, playful Bossa Nova which attempts to capture a bit of the droll humour of its composer!<br> <br> This 3-minute composition is scored for 4 Tenor Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone and is suitable for medium-advanced performers. Trombone 1 contains a repeated 16 bar improvised solo and Trombone 3 contains a high D!<br> <br> This work is featured on the iTromboni album There Goes the Neighbourhood

Trombone Quintet - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Samuel Scheidt (1587-1654). Arranged by Bennett, Neal. Baroque Period, Renaissance. 22 pages. Published by Cherry Classics Music
Samuel Scheidt's Galliard Battaglia composed around 1621, has become one of the most recognized works in the brass quintet repertoire. This secular work was originally written for five viols. The Galliard dance style, very popular at the time serves as a perfect "foil" for the music's echoing back-and-forth fanfares and brilliant scales.<br> <br> Neal Bennett of iTromboni has done a great job of arranging this music for Trombone quintet of 2 altos (possible on tenor also), 2 tenors & bass, playable by advanced performers. Length is about 2 minutes. <br> <br> The brilliant sound track sample is taken from a live performance by iTromboni.

LORD, WHO THROUGHOUT THESE FORTY DAYS - Brass Quintet

Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.774063 Arranged by Anthony Giamanco. Christian,Concert,Easter,Sacred. Score and parts. 23 pages. Whole Tone Press #6638585. Published by Whole Tone Press (A0.774063). Expertly arranged for brass quintet, this work, based on the well-known hymn, ST. FLAVIAN, captures the somber mood of the forty-day journey through the Lenten season. Following the opening march-like fanfare, the familiar melody enters in the 1st trumpet above the drone of the trombone and tuba. Then the tuba takes the melody, transposing it to G Dorian, then, briefly to A Mixolydian. At the key change, the melody returns to its original form, now taken up by the French horn. The opening fanfare returns in an abbreviated form in the coda as the piece ends quietly on a D6/9 chord.Anthony Giamanco is a member of ASCAP. His many piano, organ, choir, and chamber works are in the catalogs of numerous publishers including GIA, Shawnee Press, Alfred, Augsburg Fortress, Lorenz, and others. His music also can be purchased through sheetmusicplus.com, Sheet Music Marketplace, and JW Pepper.Anthony's music can be heard on his website, anthonygiamanco.com,https://www.anthonygiamanco.com,on SoundCloudhttps://soundcloud.com/tony-giamanco,and on his YouTube channelParticularly appropriate for Lenten services, this short work can be played during the prelude, the offering, or as a meditation during communion.

Holiday,Patriotic,Romantic Period,World. Score and parts. 12 pages. JV MUSIC #3389317. Published by JV MUSIC (A0.722742). Anthems of Finland and The United StatesFinland National Anthem US National Anthem for Brass QuintetArranged by Jari VillanuevaIn honor of the 100 years of independence of Finland and 100 years of friendship between our two great nations.Score 2 Trumpets in BbHorn in FTromboneTubaSubstitute parts for Eb Horn and Baritone T.C .providedMaamme or VÃ¥rt land is the title of Finland's national anthem. The music was composed by the German immigrant Fredrik Pacius, with words by Johan Ludvig Runeberg, and with this music it was performed for the first time on 13 May 1848. The Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem of the United States of America. The lyrics come from Defence of Fort M'Henry, a poem written on September 14, 1814, by the 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Key was inspired by the large American flag, the Star-Spangled Banner, flying triumphantly above the fort during the American victory. Jari Villanueva earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Music from Kent State University, Ohio. He retired from the US Air Force Band in Washington DC where he spent 23 years as a trumpeter, bugler and staff arranger. He started his publishing company JV MUSIC in 1995. A student of Bill Holcombe, he continues writing for different ensembles and his arrangements are played by bands, brass ensembles and brass quintets all over the country. He is the winner of the 2016 Sheet Music Plus Arranging Contest and 2016 Holiday Arranging Contest.https://youtu.be/FkGeeFGmcHw

March (from "The Nutcracker Suite") (F) (Brass Quintet - 2 Trp, 3 Trb)

Brass Ensemble Trombone,Trumpet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.814511 Composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Christmas,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 24 pages. Regis Bookshar #6612449. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.814511). Brass Quintet - Advanced/Intermediate - Digital Download. This marvelous arrangement of the March from Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's extremely popular, The Nutcracker Suite, would be a fabulous addition to any music library and could be performed for concerts and recitals but would be most appropriate during the Holiday season. This selection has been arranged to keep all of the intensity and excitement of the original composition and is suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing this selection. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (24 pages). This selection is one of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available for the first time. The Nutcracker is an 1892 two-act ballet with a score by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It has enjoyed enormous popularity since the late 1960's and is performed by countless ballet companies, primarily during the Christmas season, especially in North America. Tchaikovsky's score has become one of his most famous compositions. Some critics have called it astonishingly rich in detailed inspiration and from beginning to end, beautiful, melodious, original and characteristic. The ballet's first complete performance outside Russia took place in England in 1934. The first complete United States performance was on December 24, 1944, by the San Francisco Ballet. It was such an enormous success that the San Francisco Ballet has presented The Nutcracker every Christmas Eve and throughout the winter season, debuting new productions in 1944, 1954, 1967 and 2004. In Salt Lake City, it has been performed every year since 1963. The New York City Ballet gave its first annual performance in 1954. In addition to annual live stagings of the work, many productions have also been televised or released on home video. The Nutcracker continues to be one of Tchaikovsky's most popular compositions and contains some of his most memorable works. Tchaikovsky made a selection of eight of the numbers from the ballet before the ballet's December 1892 premiere, forming The Nutcracker Suite, Op. 71a, and is intended for concert performance. The suite was first performed, under the composer's direction, on March 19, 1892. The suite became instantly popular with almost every number encored at its premiere.Regis Bookshar thought that it would be wonderful if other instrumentalists could also have the opportunity to play some of these wonderful compositions, originally scored for a full orchestra, and has arranged two of the selections, the popular March and the Russian Dance for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. So, in addition to this version of the March for a Brass Quintet, consisting of 2 Trumpets and 3 Trombones, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this selection for various Quintets and Octets and are readily available. If you should decide to purchase this arrangement of the March, I would highly encourage you to also consider purchasing the arrangement of the Russian Dance as well. Scheduling the March followed by the Russian Dance would be a very satisfying addition to any concert or recital. Please take the time to look for other versions of these compositions. You may find something else that might also suit your needs.I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar, as there are numerous selections in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are being added as often as possible. I'm certain that this wonderful arrangement of the March from Tchaikovsky's marvelous holiday favorite, The Nutcracker Suite, will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come.

Trombone Quintet - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901). Arranged by Poirier, Andrew. Romantic Period, Opera. Score, Set of Parts. 68 pages. Published by Cherry Classics Musi
Nabucco is the opera which established Verdi's reputation as a great composer and even he realized its importance as he noted "this is the opera with which my artistic career really begins".<br> <br> iTromboni alum Kenneth Pearce and Andrew Poirier have skillfully set the Overture to "Nabucco" to highlight the beautiful melodies and technical flare in their arrangement for trombone quintet (2 altos, 2 tenors, bass). As in the original, it all begins with a stately trombone chorale, hints at the big melody of “Va, pensiero” (the great chorus of the Hebrew slaves) and reaches its energetic conclusion full of gusto!<br> <br> This arrangement is suitable for advanced performers and can be heard on iTromboni’s debut album: “there goes the neighbourhood”.

Trombone Quintet Ensemble - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741). Arranged by Kenneth Pearce. Classical Period, Baroque Period. Score, Set of Parts. 30 pages. Published by Cherry Classics Music
Spring has sprung! Few words bring more happiness and optimism. The simple changing of one season to another has inspired some of the most famous classical music of all-time - Antonio Vivaldi’s set of four concertos, The Four Seasons.<br> <br> iTromboni alumnus, Kenneth Pearce, has masterfully arranged the 1st movement of Spring (La Primavera) for trombone quintet complete with all the sparkle of the original. As each of The Four Seasons concertos originally came with a short sonnet, Ken has included some of these word cues in the score and parts so you too can celebrate while playing along to the bird’s song, the murmuring stream, and the crashing thunderstorm.<br> <br> This 3 ½ minute Italian gem is sure to delight listeners and is suitable for advanced performers. <br> <br> This arrangement of Spring (La Primavera) can be heard below as a sample and in its entirety on iTromboni’s debut album: “there goes the neighbourhood”.

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.814509 Composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Christmas,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 24 pages. Regis Bookshar #6612443. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.814509). So, in addition to this version of the March for a Brass Quintet, consisting of 2 Trumpets, 1 French Horn and 2 Trombones, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this selection for various Quintets and Octets and are readily available.

The suite became instantly popular with almost every number encored at its premiere.Regis Bookshar thought that it would be wonderful if other instrumentalists could also have the opportunity to play some of these wonderful compositions, originally scored for a full orchestra, and has arranged two of the selections, the popular March and the Russian Dance, one of the character dances, based on the traditional Russian and Ukrainian folk dance, Trepak, for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. So, in addition to this version of the Russian Dance for a Trombone Quintet, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this selection for various Quintets and Octets and are readily available. If you should decide to purchase this arrangement of the Russian Dance, I would highly encourage you to also consider purchasing the arrangement of the March as well. I'm certain that this wonderful arrangement of the Russian Dance from Tchaikovsky's marvelous holiday favorite, The Nutcracker Suite, will continue to entertai.

Brass Ensemble Trombone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.813405 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Concert,Instructional,Standards,World. Score and parts. 43 pages. Regis Bookshar #6209841. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813405). Trombone Quintet - Advanced - Digital Download. This must-have arrangement would be a fabulous addition to any music library and could be performed for concerts and recitals and could also be performed for church services. This brilliant work by Johann Sebastian Bach is an adaptation of Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for Four Violins and String Orchestra in B minor. Bach had gotten to know Vivaldi's concertos while he was an organist at Weimar, where he transcribed ten of them for solo harpsichord and six of them for organ. Originally written in B minor, Bach transposed it to A minor and, while preserving the melodic outline as conceived by Vivaldi for four violins, this later adaptation, from around 1730, for four harpsichords and string orchestra, is far more ambitious. In it, Bach has both tightened and expanded Vivaldi's counterpoint, enriched it with lusher harmonies and expanded the solo parts with greater complexity and greater clarity. The result is a composition that actually improves on the original work. Written in the standard three-movement concerto form of the Baroque period, Bach's Concerto for Four Claviers in A minor is a virtuoso piece for the soloists. Regis Bookshar has now rearranged the first movement of this concerto, marked Allegro, for a Trombone Quintet, while maintaining the energy and virtuosity of Bach's original work. This arrangement is intended to be performed by accomplished players. It may prove to be a huge challenge for many players, but, I think, it will be worth the effort. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (43 pages). In addition to this version for 5 Trombones, other arrangements of this selection are also available for a variety of Instrumental Quintets, some of which are in the original key of Concert A minor and some have been transposed to Concert G minor, making it a little easier for some performers, as well as numerous other arrangements in a wide variety of styles. I would encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar. You may find something else which might interest you as well. I'm certain that this exciting arrangement will be a challenge to many performers but will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed working on it.
