This piece was written by the fifth son the second surviving son of his famous Father who taught most of his children Classical music.
This piece is not hard to learn. I have played it since I was about 12. I am 59 this year.
Music is an International language and teaches focus, disipline and concentration. If started too young, or forced on children, piano will still be useful. It has to be up to the person who has talent as an adult to decide if they do it for personal development or to make a living or to write to give to the World.
Carl Philippe Emmanuel Bach started at age 10.Emmanuel is an unusual name in 2012 and so its it's meaning.
