A Remembrance of Viktor Hartmann? is a famous suite in ten movements composed for piano by Modest Mussorgsky in 1874 and later orchestrated by various musicians whose most famous is that of Maurice Ravel in 1922. Vladimir Stasov comment : "Hartmann's sketch was his design for city gates at Kiev in the ancient Russian massive style with a cupola shaped like a slavonic helmet."
