Moravia is a historical country in Central Europe.
Together with Bohemia and Czech Silesia it is one of
the historical Czech lands, today it is situated in the
eastern Czech Republic. It takes its name from the
Morava river the source of which is to be found in the
northwest of the country. The largest city in this
region is called Brno.
