The Austrian clarinetist Peter Forcher is conductor of the ‘Pannonisches Blasorchester’ and docent at the Musical Institute Oberschützen, part of the Art University Graz. In order to support basset horn play he arranged pieces of famous and beautiful music for this instrument. Giuseppe Sammartini (1695 – 1750) composed sonatas for flute, violin, cello and oboe. The movements Allegro and Adagio from his sonata II has been arranged by Peter Forcher for clarinet and 3 basset horns.
