• The Austrian clarinetist Peter Forcher is conductor
of the ‘Pannonisches Blasorchester’ and docent at
the Musical Institute Oberschützen, part of the Art
University Graz. In order to support basset horn play
he arranged pieces of famous and beautiful music for
this instrument. The American composer, singer and
music pedagogue James E. Moore Jr. (born 1951) in 1987
composed the traditional Irish poem "An Irish Blessing"
("May the road rise to meet you", in German: “Mögen
