One, in Slavonic, the traditional language of churches of Slavic origin, the other in French, according to the new translation proposed by the “Assembly of Orthodox Bishops of France”. This publication shows how much a unique musical project is necessarily declined in different ways in two languages which are distinguished by their prosody, but also by the meaning conferred by the terms used by the different versions. | |||
