| Added by musicanuova, 12 Oct 2021 The piece dedicated to the saxophonist Marina Notaro, was written with the intent of explore the technical and sonic possibilities of the alto sax. The title Überlegung, „reflection“, refers to the slow moments of the piece where ascending or descending tritone intervals break the flow of rapid passages made of repeated notes, sound waves and "randomized" musical lines. Marina Notaro gives an extremely musical interpretation, creative and of great skill.
