Scala Vilagio T.H. Baroque Lute Model Hans Frey Cherrywood 11-courses, hand-crafted at the Tibor Haluscak master-workshop in Czech Republic, solid spruce-top with plum-tree binding, body shell made of cherywood with plum-tree lining, neck and fingerboard made of plum-tree, peg box made of cherrywood and plum-tree, pegs made of acacia, bridge made of plum-tree, Hans Frey (approx. 1450 - 1529) was an important lute-maker, whose instruments in the 17th century were bought from Italy, sent to France, and modified into baroque-lutes. Tuning 415 Hz: Cc - Dd - Ee - Ff - Gg - Aa- dd - ff - aa - d' - f' (so called "Neufranzösische Stimmung" or D-minor tuning), comes with Aquila Nylgut strings, polished shellac and soft-bag. Scale length 690mm.
