Written during the second occurrence of lock down in Auckland, New Zealand, and in appreciation of the small wonders around us, \"Ten Duets for Lever Harp\" is a series of independent short pieces ? each between 1 and 2 minutes in duration, each with its own unique mood.

Little snippets of lock down life?. The Comfy Couch, The Bumblebee, Dancing in the Gentle Breeze? in a range of genres, with a few lever changes, and technical challenges, aimed at the intermediate harpist. These pieces also explore some different harp techniques such as glissandos, xylophonics, harp percussion, and harmonics effects.

The score has both parts written in an easy to see format.

This valuable collection of hymns is the second in a series of five! Selections are geared toward smaller lever harps with a bass range to the G one and � octaves below middle C. Lever changes are indicated with diamond shaped notes.

Carolan tunes arranged for harp and one or two melody instruments. Full and interesting harp accompaniments that support the melody instruments, making these great for performing. This unique collection is arranged in period style with the harmonies, ornaments and variations as they might have been played in Dublin taverns and Irish country houses around 1800. The original 1796 version of Carolan?s Concerto is included in both solo harp versions as well as concerto form. The range of pieces include ancient modal harp airs (Bridget Cruise, First Air) to the elegant High Baroque (Mrs. Judge) to lively planxties as jigs and hornpipes (Planxty George Brabazons). The arrangements can be heard on Ensemble Musica Humana?s CD: Turlough O?Carolan- A Life in Song, performed on flute, whistle, recorder, uilleann pipes and harp.
