It contains children’s stories about underwater life, soon to be in print by Austin Macauley with a solo song included.With the kind permission of my friend and her publisher I composed a tune for young children to enjoy: sing, clap, tap or play along to the piano accompaniment. It is suitable for young voices or solo instrument players, also for a young piano player (right hand only). The range of the solo part is ‘C4’ (middle C) to ‘C5’. The key is F Major.

McCormick (A0.1040259). About this Piano/Vocal/Guitar arrangement of “Nobody like You†Disney's smash hit animation Turning Red was a massive success early in 2022. The sound track was brought to us by none other than Finneas O'connell, Billie Eilish. This arrangement of the main song on the soundtrack, Nobody like U, is for piano, voice and guitar. The key is in Am With this arrangement you will get the piano and vocal part, 7 pages, and the voice part with chords/lyrics separately acting as a lead sheet which is useful for all types of performers who do not necessarily need the whole piano part. This keeps paper usage at minimum and means the whole song can be laid out side by side without the need for page turns. The piano arrangement is very easy, mainly a heavily repeated chordal rhythmic motif. The most difficult part is in the left hand for the change in the bass line. There is also a large section of the song that is purely percussive in the backing. In one instance this is simply marked indicating when the piano drops and the accompanist could clap/beat box in this section if desired or if playing with a drummer just let them have the spot light. The song also finishes with only percussive backing, for this final section to give an idea of this I've changed the rhythm to a simple staccato beat on 2 and 4 so that if this was performed with only a pianist and singer there was some appropriate melodic backing that seemed percussive through the use of the staccato. The vocal part is close to the audio however I have omitted most of the vocal runs that happen between sections. These can be included in the performance should the singer decide to. I have only included the opening vocal run passage. In some areas I have simplified the melody, retaining the rough melodic shape but simplifying the rhythm. These can be sung as written or adjusted to the performers taste. I hope you enjoy this arrangement of Nobody Like U for piano, vocal and guitar and I hope it serves as a versatile arrangement for many purposes. About the Arranger, Barry McCormick I am Barry McCormick, I have an MA in music from the University of Glasgow. I am a musician, composer and arranger from Scotland. I have over 20 years experience in teaching music at a classroom and private tuition level and have taught students from early years to more mature in years. Lyrically, the song is about a lover that brings Finneas peace, but also trouble.Shelter was released as the third single from Finneas' debut EP Blood Harmony for digital download and streaming, through his record label OYOY on August 22, 2019. The track was written and produced by Finneas.Critical commentary described Shelter as a pop-based track. The track features a tropical beat, electric guitar, Latin-based guitars, drum beats, gospel choir effects that appear during the chorus, reverb'd handclaps, bluesy vocal embellishment, and rapid phrasing in the bridge.Here you'll find the piano score in Em (instead of Ebm, which is the original key) but you can always set your piano to transpose -1 to reach the original key signature of the song. Friends shouldn't just hang out in fair weather, so here is All Weather Friends, a gentle swing waltz ideal for established intermediate players at about the Grade 4-5 standard (ABRSM).The melody and accompaniment is based upon a classic jazz waltz rhythm, so to get into the feel of this piece, you may find it useful to first practice clapping this rhythm:Remember that the quaver eighth notes are swung.The trick with this piece is to let the melody sing out above the jazz waltz accompaniment, so keep an ear on the melody at all times.In bar 21, the semiquaver 16th notes can be played a little faster than written, which will create more of a 'turn' ornament. Have a listen to the performance recording clip (above) at about halfway through to get the idea.This jazz waltz piano sheet music provides excellent practice for working on phrasing and sustain pedal technique. Occasionally, you may find a couple of hand position changes that risk disrupting the flow of the melodic phrase. In these instances, try a touch of sustain pedal to smooth out the transition. An example of this can be found in bar 31.After the repeated opening melody, the middle section moves into the key of G minor, featuring a rising arpeggio-based accompaniment with sustain pedal. There is a lot of quaver eighth-note movement in this section, so be sure to keep this rhythm smoothly swinging in the usual triplet manner:This middle section reaches a crescendo at bar 37 with a rippling chord effect between both hands. Try experimenting with different ways of splitting up these chords - you could ripple up from the left hand to the right hand, or try rippling both hands at the same time. Stick with whatever sounds good to you!After a poco rall the original melody returns via a D.C. al Coda.
