Her parents then deprive Amélie of attending school and having contact with other children. Her mother, who is a teacher, taught her how to read and write until she died. Her childhood and her mother's premature death end up strongly influencing Amélie's development and the way she relates to people and the world as an adult.After coming of age, she moves from the suburbs to the Parisian district of Montmartre, where she starts working as a waitress. One day, she finds in the bathroom of her apartment a box with toys and figurines belonging to the former resident of the apartment. She decides to look for it and deliver it to its owner, Dominique, anonymously. Upon noticing that he cries with joy when he regains his object, the girl is impressed and remodels her vision of the world.From then on, Amélie engaged in small gestures in order to help and make the people around her happier. There she gains a new meaning for her existence. In one of these small big actions, she meets a man. Raphaël Novarina is a French composer and Pianist born in Paris in 1980, that composes in a variety of musical styles and setting, but mainly focuses on contemporary classical piano. Novarina also manages a music label. Novarina has an extensive collection of albums. His Solo Piano series has over ten albums of original solo piano music. The style of each album varies, but Novarina’s compositional styles are always based in the rich European classical tradition of forms and harmonic and melodic developments. Each album contains solid playing and themed around various forms. For example, Solo Piano VIII, is comprised of ten Etudes. While Solo Piano VII is all Funeral Marches. Now Novarina is releasing Solo Piano X, which has a theme of suites. The album contains ten suites composed by Novarina. A suite, in Western classical music, is an ordered set of instrumental pieces. Originating in the late 14th century as a pairing of dance tunes and grew in scope to comprise up to five dances, sometimes with a prelude. The separate movements were often thematically and tonally linked. Qui di seguito info sul compositore. n. a Costigliole di Saluzzo (Cuneo-Italia) il 13 maggio 1849; prof. a Lanzo il 23 settemre 1870; m. a Torino il 22 ottobre 1934. Fu accolto da don Bosco nel suo Oratorio di Valdocco (Torino) nel 1864, a 14 anni di età , come allievo falegname. Egli però, già cantore del duomo di Saluzzo, aveva una spiccata inclinazione alla musica, e trovò in don Bosco chi lo comprese e l'assecondò. Sotto la guida del M. De Vecchi poté studiare musica strumentale, armonia e composizione. I suoi progressi furono così rapidi che, fattosi salesiano, divenne il più attivo collaboratore del M. Cagliero, e, allorché questi partì per l'Argentina a capo della prima spedizione di missionari salesiani (1875), a lui fu affidata la direzione della Schola cantorum,e nel 1889 anche della banda musicale dell'Oratorio. Maestro impareggiabile - come attesta un suo ex-allievo, don Alberto Caviglia - trasformò la scuola di canto col suo metodo d'insegnamento, sia nella preparazione della lettura, sia nell'educazione delle voci bianche e nell'addestramento delle masse corali, che giunsero fino a quattrocento voci. Con mezzi così poderosi il M. Dogliani ricondusse in chiesa la musica classica, e la Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice fu rinomata per le grandiose esecuzioni inappuntabili degli spartiti di Rossini, Cherubini, Haydn, Gounod, Sgambati, Bossi, Tebaldini, Pagella, Perosi, Bottazzo, Ravanello, Mattioli, Donini, giungendo perfino a eseguire la Missa Papae Marcelli del Palestrina, senza accompagnamento (1876), e le classiche composizioni di Vittoria, Lolli, Gabrielli, Orlando di Lasso. La presenza della sua Schola cantorum e della sua banda strumentale fu spesso ambita e richiesta in altre città d'Italia in solenni circostanze, meritando elogi e premi, e perfino a Marsiglia per le feste centenarie di santa Giovanna d'Arco e l'inaugurazione della nuova cattedrale (1894). Il Cagliero - di cui ridusse a stile liturgico le più solenni composizioni - lo invitò in Argentina per portarvi la sua esperienza pratica d'insegnamento, che poi concretò nel celebre Metodo di canto corale, edito varie volte e su cui si formarono generazioni di Pueri cantores. Fu pure compositore di musica sacra e inni d'occasione di ottimo effetto: notevole l'antifona Corona aurea, composta per l'incoronazione dell'effige di Maria Ausiliatrice nel suo santuario (1903). Ma soprattutto egli - seguendo il metodo educativo di don Bosco - seppe fare della scuola di canto e di banda validi strumenti di formazione interiore, educando soprattutto con l'esempio di perfetto religioso, sicché i suoi allievi, per la sua abituale compostezza e inalterabile pazienza, lo tenevano in concetto di santo. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.PDP009). 9 x 12 in inches.Johann Melchior Molter achieved particular notoriety for his writing for unusual instruments, such as the chalumeau, the flauto d' amore, the flauto cornetto, and the harp. The clarinet was at the time a very new and quite unrefined instrument, but the Karlsruhe court orchestra possessed a musician (Johann Reusch) who played it. In 1747 Molter wrote four concerti for the piccolo clarinet in D, which are possibly the first clarinet concerti ever written. The motives and fanfare-like arpeggiated figures of these clarinet concerti reflect the early clarinet's reputed tonal similarity to the trumpet. It is interesting to note that the English referred to the early clarinet as the Mock Trumpet, and the name clarinet itself is derived from the Italian word for trumpet, clarino. The piccolo clarinet in D is the clarinet for which Richard Strauss wrote the main motive of his famous tone poem Till Eulenspiegel, and it also notably appears in the symphonies of Mahler and Stravinsky's Le sacre du printemps. The D clarinet is still in fairly common use today, but the majority of modem clarinetists perform parts written for the D clarinet on the much more common E-flat clarinet. For this arrangement I wished to allow the clarinetist to perform Molter's third concerto on the E-flat clarinet in the same key as it was written for the D clarinet. Therefore, I have transposed the piece from the original key of G to A-flat, which keeps the written solo part in the key of F. It is my sincere hope that this practicality will allow many more clarinetists to enjoy performing this historically significant piece of clarinet repertoire.
