Cello,Piano - Level 3 - SKU: A0.844351 Composed by Lyrics: Charles Wesley, Music: Thomas Campbell, published 1738, and published 1825. Arranged by Dan Cutchen. Christian,Gospel,Sacred,Spiritual. Score and part. 15 pages. Dan Cutchen Music #4281895. Published by Dan Cutchen Music (A0.844351). This arrangement of And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is for cello solo and piano.A theme and variation treatment is used. For a piano background Mp3 track, search for: Cello - And Can It Be? Piano Accompaniment, Dan CutchenTime: approximately 6:00And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley. And Can It Be was written in 1738 to celebrate Wesley's conversion, which he regarded as having taken place on May 21 of that year. This beautiful hymn has been popular and enduring. And Can It Be That I Should Gain is perhaps one of the most joyfully poignant hymns penned by Charles Wesley (1707-1788). On Whitsunday (Pentecost), May 21, 1738, three days before his brother John experienced his heart strangely warmed,’ Charles was convalescing in the home of John Bray, a poor mechanic, when he heard a voice saying, In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, arise, and believe, and thou shalt be healed of all thy infirmities. The voice was most likely Mr. Bray’s sister who felt commanded to say these words in a dream.Anglican hymn writer Timothy Dudley-Smith, notes that the following then happened:Charles got out of bed and opening his Bible read from the Psalms: He have put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, followed by the first verse of Isaiah 40, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He wrote in his journal, I have found myself at peace with God, and rejoiced in the hope of love Christ (Dudley-Smith, 1987, 1).The statement from Mr. Bray’s sister sparked within Charles a conviction like he had never felt before. Moved and convicted in spirit, Charles wrestled with these words until he came to rest in his faith, knowing that it is by faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8).Soon after this conversion experience, he wrote two hymns in celebration of the amazing love he had come to know: And Can It Be that I Should Gain and Where Shall My Wondering Soul Begin? (United Methodist Hymnal, 342)There has been some debate as to which hymn was written first, but most current scholarship accepts the latter as the first hymn written by Charles after his conversion experience. No matter its place in the chronology of Wesley's output, And Can It Be has been and remains one of his most remarkable hymns, expressing like no other the rapturous joy of receiving salvation. And Can It Be That I Should Gain. Soprano voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1185473 Composed by Maurice Ravel. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. Classical,Opera. 6 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #785149. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1185473). The first of its kind, this is a genuinely playable and slightly-to-moderately simplified piano/vocal reduction of Arrière! Je réchauffe les bons, the Fire Aria from Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges (1925). Sopranos who love this aria no longer need to fear bringing it in for auditions, last-minute performing engagements, or other situations in which the pianist may have to sight-read from the often chaotic vocal score, particularly if the murmuring section after the standard audition cut, which is very poorly rendered in the standard reduction, is also being included. Pianists may now enjoy playing this aria comfortably, without risking strain/injury or audition-room chaos. This Accessible Accompaniment is more generous than standard audition cuts, ending just before L'enfant re-enters with j'ai peur. It is 91 measures in total and ideal for recitals as well. All Accessible Accompaniments, including this one, boast several unique features:1. No reduction ever requires stretches of over an octave, not including bass notes meant to be held or “fudged†with the pedal (though octaves may also contain chord tones within them). This reduces the amount of rearranging that smaller-handed pianists must already do. Obviously, further reworkings are to be expected and pianists should feel free to add to or modify what I’ve provided.2. I’ve included less essential, but potentially desirable additional voices/passages in cue-size noteheads so that pianists can easily see them, but know that they are not necessary in a “sink or swim†accompanying situation. Presenting less essential material in cue-size noteheads also reduces visual clutter on the page. 3. In addition to the composer’s markings, when needed, I have included hints on particular notes to bring out when the singer is likely to need them as a pitch anchor or when it is not obvious which line should be brought out within the texture.4. All page turns have been carefully selected so as to result in the least possible disruption to the pianist when possible. 5. When known, I’ve noted alternate cuts that singers might like to take within certain arias. 6. In some cases I’ve modernized spelling conventions for easier readability (for example, by replacing “߆with “ss†in German arias) and occasionally I've enharmonically respelled brief passages for greater clarity. I’ve also replaced some text “cresc.†and “dim.†markings with hairpins, which are easier to see in high-pressure sight-reading situations.About the Arranger:Praised as a sensitive pianist and outstanding accompanist who delivers powerful interpretations, Nicole Elyse DiPaolo enjoys a multifaceted career as a sought-after collaborative pianist, educational composer, arranger, coach, private teacher, and adjunct music professor. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.799606). The first of its kind, and the seventh entry in Nicole Elyse DiPaolo's Accessible Accompaniments series of aria reductions, this is a genuinely playable and slightly simplified piano/vocal reduction of Stridono lassù, Nedda's famous aria from Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. Sopranos who love this aria no longer need to fear bringing it in for auditions, last-minute performing engagements, or other situations in which the pianist may have to sight-read from the chaotic, poorly notated, and technically demanding vocal score. Pianists may now enjoy playing this aria comfortably, without risking strain/injury by trying to play the harp lines that nobody can hear anyway! All Accessible Accompaniments, including this one, boast several unique features:1. No reduction ever requires stretches of over an octave, not including bass notes meant to be held or fudged with the pedal (though octaves may also contain chord tones within them). All page turns have been carefully selected so as to result in the least possible disruption to the pianist. When an inevitable page turn precedes a potentially surprising note or chord, I’ve included the next downbeat’s notes in cue-size stemless noteheads at the end of the preceding measure.5. When known, I’ve noted alternate cuts that singers might like to take within certain arias.6. In some cases I’ve modernized spelling conventions for easier readability (for example, by replacing ß with ss in German arias) and occasionally I've enharmonically respelled brief passages for greater clarity.About the Arranger: Praised as a sensitive pianist and outstanding accompanist who delivers powerful interpretations, Nicole Elyse DiPaolo enjoys a multifaceted career as a sought-after collaborative pianist, educational composer, arranger, coach, private teacher, and adjunct music professor. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #776458. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1176334). The first of its kind, this is a genuinely playable piano/vocal reduction of Largo al factotum,†the show-stopping first aria from Gioachino Rossini’s famous opera Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville). Most reductions of this aria pose a physical hazard to audition and other collaborative pianists who risk injury by trying to grab every fast repeated note and chord in this extremely long aria, nor do the repeated notes tend to come out properly or sound right on pianos compared to the string instruments for which they were written. With this reduction—which was specifically created to be more ergonomic at the piano and safer to get through on long audition-playing days—pianists may now enjoy playing this aria comfortably, without risking strain/injury. However, it’ll still be a tour de force for the baritone!Note that this score does not make any cuts to the aria; therefore, it is also suitable for recital settings without time limits. All Accessible Accompaniments, including this one, boast several unique features:1. No reduction ever requires stretches of over an octave, not including bass notes meant to be held or “fudged†with the pedal (though octaves may also contain chord tones within them). For a piano background Mp3 track, search for: Alto Sax - And Can It Be? Theme and Variations-Accompaniment Track, Dan CutchenTime: approximately 6:00And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. 20th Century,Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred. Score and parts. 17 pages. Sharon Wilson #427760. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.820928). Here is a bright and upbeat instrumental trio arrangement (for FLUTE and VIOLIN duet with PIANO accompaniment) of the joyful hymn In a Little While We're Going Home by Eliza E. Hewitt. Both the FLUTE and the VIOLIN get to lead with the melody at times making this a fun and equally challenging piece for both instruments while adding variety for the listeners. The FLUTE plays the melody for the first verse in the key of C major. During the piano interlude, the arrangement transitions to the key of G major for the second verse and the VIOLIN plays the melody. This energetic and uplifting instrumental arrangement is an ideal selection for a church setting and a valuable addition to your sacred repertoire. Duration 2:30. The range for each part is as follows: Part 1 (FLUTE) – G4 to C6; Part 2 (VIOLIN) – B3 to A5. For the VIOLIN, all notes are playable in the first position making this piece an excellent choice for early intermediate string players. The FLUTE part could also be played by a VIOLIN if the player is comfortable playing beyond the first position (the C6 may require playing in second or third position). From Chopin to Joplin, her influences were varied and many, and she also enjoyed creating her own arrangements of popular songs. While earning a business degree at the University of Colorado Boulder, Christine was inspired by George Winston's new age genre of solo piano, yet the piano remained only a hobby for many years. In 1990, my mother requested a cassette tape of my piano music for her birthday, so I went to a local recording studio. It was then that I rediscovered my passion for playing the piano, and I realized my gift to her was really her gift to me. Sadly, her mother passed away just months later. Christine immersed herself into the piano to comfort her grief and voice her emotions, releasing heartfelt compositions that captured listeners. Christine's fans have written, There is a richness to your sound, a refined elegance and passionate intelligence that could only come from working hard at your craft, and ...her music is vibrant, colorful and full of life. Skilled at the art of blending chords and note progressions into beautiful aural tapestries, her music is at once a welcome retreat from the mundane and ordinary. Her emotions come through her music...and through her music, she is able to reach out and touch the hearts of millions of appreciative piano music fans.COMPOSER.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - SKU: A0.719739 Composed by Various. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Sacred. Score. 74 pages. Curtis Hanson #4580179. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719739). As years come and go, one increasingly recalls memories of earlier times. One of the most vivid and cherished memories I have while growing up is of Sunday mornings, going to church, sitting in the same pew each week with my grandmother, hearing and singing the beautiful hymns of our faith, and then returning home to the aroma of beef slowly roasting in the oven. My father directed the church choir, my mother and older brothers sang in the choir, so the wonderful music of our faith was instilled in me from an early age. This collection of ten short medleys are arrangements of many of my favorite hymns from those early years, some of which have been lost in more recent editions. Each set in the collection is also available individually. The audio clip is of the first set. The general concept of each medley is to present the hymn, often in its original chorale form, and then vary its accompaniment, harmony, or texture over the succeeding verses. A caveat: I have no delusions, and offer no pretenses, that these settings are great art. They are simply expressions of faith which I hope may bring a small measure of joy and comfort to other technically challenged yet serviceable pianists such as myself.

Soprano voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1303524 By Richard Wagner. By Richard Wagner. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. 19th Century,Classical,Opera,Romantic Period. 5 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #893099. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1303524). The first of its kind, this is a genuinely playable piano/vocal reduction of O Sachs! Mein Freund!, Eva's aria from Richard Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg. Dramatic sopranos who love this aria no longer need to fear bringing it in for auditions, last-minute performing engagements, or other situations in which the pianist is unlikely to know this aria and may become rattled by the chaotic piano reductions in the currently available vocal scores. Pianists with limited practice time may now enjoy playing this aria comfortably as well. Because vocal line/orchestral doublings are characteristic of Wagner, those have been preserved in this edition. Presenting less essential material in cue-size noteheads also reduces visual clutter on the page.3. When an inevitable page turn precedes a potentially surprising note or chord, I’ve included the next downbeat’s notes in cue-size stemless noteheads at the end of the preceding measure.5. When known, I’ve noted alternate cuts that singers might like to take within certain arias.6. In some cases I’ve modernized spelling conventions for easier readability (for example, by replacing “߆with “ss†in German arias) and occasionally I've enharmonically respelled brief passages for greater clarity.

Published by Christopher Brown (A0.747204). About the song: Satan has been decisively defeated. In every battle with the devil, 1 John 4:4 assures us that God is greater. When we feel trapped in sin, God is greater. When we are tempted to doubt, God is greater. When we face trials, God is greater. When we experience great loss or disappointment, God is greater still. He is able to strengthen, help, comfort, and uphold our souls by His power and might regardless of the circumstances in which we find ourselves. This is reason for hope, joy, and praise even in the darkest valley. Can be performed with piano accompaniment only, OR with additional band members, OR with full orchestra*.Please Note:You can purchase individual copies of the vocal part separately on Sheet Music Plus. Performance of this piece requires the purchase of one vocal score per singer.*Full orchestration and parts also available on Sheet Music Plus.Included in your Purchase:Piano AccompanimentLyrics:Verse 1When it seems there’s no way out,He can make a way.In the darkness of my doubt,He’s the light of day.Ev’ry trial that I face,Comes with His mercy and His grace.Pre-Chorus 1Greater is He Who lives in me.Stronger than the plans of ev’ry enemy. From sin and death I’ve been set free.He set me free!Chorus 1This is my hope when I’m walking through the valley of the shadow. This is my joy in the sorrow and the pain. This is the Truth when I’m caught up in the middle of the battle.Greater is He that is in me.Verse 2When my world begins to shake,He’s unshakable. When my circumstances change,He’s unchangeable. In ev’ry storm and crashing wave,My God is powerful to save.Pre-Chorus 2Greater is He Who lives in me.Stronger than the plans of ev’ry enemy. From sin and death I’ve been set free.He set me free!Chorus 2This is my hope when I’m walking through the valley of the shadow. This is my joy in the sorrow and the pain. This is the Truth when I’m caught up in the middle of the battle.Greater is He that is in me.Bridge 1There isn’t any other,Who has the power, power. The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords,We lift Him higher, higher.Bridge 2We raise our voices louder,Our God is stronger, stronger. The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords,We lift Him higher, higher.Chorus 3This is my hope when I’m walking through the valley of the shadow. This is my joy in the sorrow and the pain. This is the Truth when I’m caught up in the middle of the battle.Greater is He,Greater is He,Greater is He that is in me.

Handbell - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1499428 Composed by Michael Giacchino. Arranged by Mark R Lewis. Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Film/TV. Score. 8 pages. Mark R Lewis #1075488. Published by Mark R Lewis (A0.1499428). The Pixar movie Inside Out tells the story of the personified emotions of young Riley as she deals with her family’s move to San Francisco from Minesota. “Bundle of Joy” serves as the theme song for the movie and is a recurring motif throughout. The theme also comes back in the sequel Inside Out 2.This arrangement is for 3-5 octave handbell choir with 3-5 octaves of handchimes and transfers the original orchestral, piano, and celeste piece into a pleasing interpretation featuring both bells and chimes. The melody stays in the upper bells for most of the piece with accompaniment switching between chimes and bells at different points throughout. Singing bells occur several times along with syncopations in both the melody and accompaniment. There are a few quick bell changes but overall, this piece is a comfortable level 3 arrangement.

Piano,Viola - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1191096 Composed by Robert Lowry. Arranged by Cydney Olson Van Duker. Christian,Religious,Sacred. Score and part. 4 pages. Cydney Olson Van Duker #790613. Published by Cydney Olson Van Duker (A0.1191096). This is a unique arrangement of a beloved hymn with changes in the time signature and key signature several times throughout. The first verse introduces the melody in a simple and comforting manner. The accompaniment is flowing and reverent. The second verse becomes more joyous. In the third verse the piano starts with the melody and the viola plays an obligato. The third verse ends with the viola taking back the melody and finishing the piece as reverently as it began.
