The New Antiquity collection includes 15 compositions for a violin and viola duo. Ten compositions from the collection, composed by anonymous authors from the Middle Ages and two Renaissance authors, Tielman Susato and Thoinot Arbeau, have been arranged by Sonja Kalajic. The other five pieces are original romantic compositions by Sonja Kalajic inspired by the spirit of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Beautiful hits of early music, or so-called music of antiquity, have been adapted to the modern and standard violin and viola duo in keeping with the newer instrumental and concertante possibilities of the said instruments. There is no evidence that anyone has adapted that kind of music for such a musical ensemble before, so this edition of musical scores represents a noteworthy contribution to the greater affirmation of early music, to the literature of the string duet in question, and to music in general. From the technical point of view, the collection consists of compositions for almost all levels of performance ? from easier pieces by anonymous authors to some virtuoso ones, like ?Heraldry? by Sonja Kalajic. We hope that the compositions from the New Antiquity collection will enrich and refresh certain concert programs, that they will encourage some performers to attempt new interpretations of old melodies and dances, and that the musicians and the audiences will jointly feel and enjoy the indestructible and astonishing relevance of those musical compositions.

"New Rules", from the artist Dua Lipa, is arranged here for a string quartet consisting of violins I and II, viola, and cello, and may be performed by 4 players, 8 players, or more! This arrangement is meant to sound authentic to the original recording, yet take advantage of the range and lush colors of a string ensemble. The challenge here is in the syncopated pop rhythms, as well as quick changes between pizzicato and arco passages. This makes the arrangement well suited for an advanced high school group or even a college chamber ensemble looking for a fun piece to add to a program or perform in a casual setting.

Flowing and easy-to-play version of lovely and moving Randy Newman song. Perfect for chamber parties, wedding gigs, student recitals, etc.

"Feels Like Home" is a song written by Randy Newman for the musical Randy Newman's Faust, in which Bonnie Raitt sung it. Linda Ronstadt, also involved in the musical, recorded it for Trio II in 1994, but released it for solo album Feels Like Homein March 1995. Raitt's version was released on the musical's album soundtrack in September 1995. Raitt's version was also used the following year in the soundtrack to the film Michael. Linda Ronstadt's original version, with Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton, the latter of whom was mixed out of Ronstadt's original release due to label disputes, was released in 1999.

The most successful version of the song was a version sung by Chantal Kreviazuk and released as a single from the 1999 soundtrack Songs from Dawson's Creek. The Kreviazuk version reached the top 40 in Ireland and the top 20 in the Canadian adult contemporary chart, and was later included on some editions of her 2002 album What If It All Means Something.

Landscape II is the second piece of a series of short contemporary pieces for guitar written by Argentine-born American composer Pablo Emiliano Fedele.

This is the 10 strings classical guitar edition F# G# A# D E A D G B E (Standard guitar edition with tuning D A D G B E, also available).

Written in a modern language, it's time signature is 3/4 in the Key of D Major. Following the path of Landscape I, the piece explores chords and textures, layers of sound and rhythmic complexity with a strong detail in the technical use of both hands.

Although not specifically detailed, some rhythm patterns of this piece are similar to those found in Argentinian folkloric music that influenced the composer.

The piece was written for an intermediate and advanced level. This edition contains a suggested fingering and positions to create the sound the composer believes is the essence of the piece. "Finally got a chance to play through ?The New England Suite??Three Poems for Solo Piano by the amazing Klaus Schader, a modern German composer. Klaus dedicated this piece to me. In Klaus Schader?s piano suite, he explored the deepest longings of human soul, then he painted it out using especially various and unusual harmonies into a master piece with colors of curiosity and warmth. Each harmony was made to wanting more. Wanting more in mystery, wanting more in the dream. In ?Delaware moon?, I hear the warmth of the moonlight dimming Delaware and it feels romantic and welcoming, yet mysterious. The unexpected disharmony of the four chords strikes you into intensive emotions, and reminds you that it was these struggles of reality make beauty even more beautiful. In the ?Old King?s Highway?, the changing of irregular meters and the use of 5/4 gives you the unsettling worries, yet Klaus uses the calming bass lines and chords to balance the scene, and it feels all is in control on the bumpy road. In ?Dusk on the Mohawk Trail?, the story line was based on the unusual chordal progressions, however the dominant sevenths chords throughout brings back the core spirit of the entire piano series-romance, mystery, and dream. It reminds one where the core of the soul is, and that is, where peace is at. Thank you Klaus!!"
