Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
String Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Viola,Violin - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.976…

String Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Viola,Violin - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.976701 Composed by 17th Century French Carol. Arranged by Robert Myers. 20th Century,Christian,Christmas,Sacred. Score and parts. 24 pages. WheatMyer Music #3496795. Published by WheatMyer Music (A0.976701). Plenty of music is available for advanced ensembles, and some music is available for beginning and early music students. But what is available for a mixture of the two? This arrangement of Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence aims to provide that solution. As originally written for an actual church ensemble with a mixture of professional, advanced amateur, and student string players, this piece can fit many different ensemble mixtures of a septet or larger. It features solo parts for violin and cello that will interest advanced players mixed with simple accompaniment by the ensemble at large. Whether you have a studio of mixed ability students, a faculty/student ensemble, or just a real-world church ensemble, this piece can work for you.

Flute,Piano,Soprano Saxophone,Violin - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.990523 Composed by Lars Peter Schultz. 20th Century,Instructional. 20 pages. Lars Peter Schultz #3489333. Published by Lars Peter Schultz (A0.990523). Two Educational Pieces for Chamber Ensemble.1. Walk2. May NightFor amateur ensemble with a more advanced flute part compaired with the other parts.Instrumentation: Alto recorder or concert flute, soprano sax, two pianos, violin and double bass. The level is easy/beginner except the flute part which is somewhat advanced intermediate. The file includes both the score and the parts. The music was originally written for an ensemble where there was a flute player who was on a more advanced level than the other players. Thus the flute player needed a part with a different challenge than the other parts. You can see that when looking at the score. The first piece Walk is focused on some simple dotted rhythms and syncopation. On top of that the flute flies around like a butterfly in the landscape. The second piece May Night is focused on rests. The flute part is inspired by a nightingale singing in my garden. The challenge in the other parts is to enter at the right time after the rests.May you enjoy the music.***My website: www.larspeterschultz.dkMember of KODA (Danish performing rights organization) : https://www.koda.dk/eng

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Violin - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1437080 By Pick 'n' Mix Strings. By Traditional New Zealand Sea Shanty. Arranged by Sarah McLellan. Folk,Multicultural,Traditional,World. 11 pages. Sarah McLellan #1017151. Published by Sarah McLellan (A0.1437080). This much loved sea shanty is arranged here for Junior String Quartet (3 Violins & Cello) with an Optional Piano Part also included. This arrangement would suit string players who are ABRSM Grade 1 - 2 level. The melodic interest of the Verses is passed between players, whilst the catchy, repeated Chorus section provides a great hook for everyone to join together throughout the piece. If you have a mixed ability quartet and need a variety of different level parts, you can combine any of the parts from this Junior Quartet Arrangement, with parts from either the Advanced or Intermediate Quartet Arrangements if need be. (All parts will fit together between the different levels. E.g. you could combine 2 players reading from the Junior Quartet parts and 2 players reading from the Advanced/ Intermediate Quartet parts if you wish). You can also find play-along videos for Open String parts on YouTube @PicknMixStrings, which will fit alongside this quartet arrangement - should anybody wish to do a combined performance with beginner string players - or even boomwhackers or rainbow bells - and this Junior Quartet.

Folk,Romantic Period,Sacred,Standards,Traditional. Individual part. 10 pages. Sharon Wilson #6642167. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.569894). This sheet music is notated for C major diatonic scale Tongue Drums (suitable for any 8, 11, or 13-note drum in the key of C). This hymn arrangement can be performed as a solo, as rhythmic chord accompaniment for singing, or as a duet. Four separate scores are provided for maximum flexibility. Whether beginner or experienced musician, these scores can be used in numerous ways from solo playing to playing with a partner or as a group. A note and chord reference chart is included as well as a rhythm pattern chart. Descriptions, suggestions, and uses for each score and chart are detailed on the introduction page and summarized below:Melody ScoreThis score can be played as a solo with or without singing along. These numbers correspond to the numbers on the Tongue Drum. Lyrics appear below the staff for sing along enjoyment. Harmony ScoreThis score can be used in conjunction with the Melody Score to form a duet by providing the accompaniment (harmony) while someone plays or sings the melody. Note numbers below the staff corresponding to the numbers on the drum. Chord names are shown above the staff for playing a rhythmic accompaniment in place of the harmony accompaniment shown. The chord names can also be used for ensemble playing with other instruments (such as a Ukulele or Guitar).Grand StaffThe Grand Staff score combines the Melody Score with the Harmony Score. This score provides a visual overview of how the two scores line up and is helpful for a director or teacher using this set of scores in a group setting. If playing with a partner (a duet), this score may be easier to use since you both can see what the other person is playing. This score includes note numbers above the melody staff and below the harmony staff corresponding to the numbers on the drum; chord names shown above the harmony staff for ensemble playing with other instruments or for using a rhythmic chord accompaniment; and lyrics between the staves for sing along enjoyment. Numbers corresponding to the numbers on the Tongue Drum are included above the staff.Note and Chord ChartThis chart consists of two separate staff rows. The first staff shows the notes used for the melody. The second staff shows the notes in each chord used in this song. Any combination of the notes within a given chord can be played using one of the rhythm patterns. Rhythm ChartThis chart shows four rhythm patterns that can be used as an accompaniment for the melody. Using the Harmony Score or the Grand Staff, follow the chord names to play notes from the given chord using one of the rhythm patterns. This arrangement is one of the 10 songs in the collection Hymn Meditations for 8-note C major diatonic scale Tongue Drums (A collection of 10 Solos and Duets). Descriptions, suggestions, and uses for each score and chart are detailed on the introduction page and summarized below:Melody ScoreThis score can be played as a solo with or without singing along. Those new to reading standard music notation as well as those already familiar with music notation will find the numbers above the staff helpful. Advanced Solo ScoreThe Advanced Solo score includes harmony notes along with the melody notes to create a fuller sounding solo which can be played with or without singing along. Numbers corresponding to the numbers on the Tongue Drum are included above the staff.Note and Chord ChartThis chart consists of two separate staff rows. The first staff shows the notes used for the melody. The second staff shows the notes in each chord used in this song. Using the Harmony Score or the Grand Staff, follow the chord names to play notes from the given chord using one of the rhythm patterns. This arrangement is one of the 10 songs in the collection Hymns of Praise for 8-note C major diatonic scale Tongue Drums (A collection of 10 Solos and Duets).Visit Sharon Wilson's website: www.SharonWilsonMusic.comSubscribe to her YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/user/SharonWilsonMusic

Mixed Percussion Bells,Boomwhackers,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Xylophone - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.569889 By Sharon Wilson. By Arthur de Lulli. Arranged by Sharon Wilson Music. 20th Century,Children,Folk,Instructional,March. 46 pages. Sharon Wilson #6616395. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.569889). This sheet music is notated for 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating a 2-part instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). For most of the song, the Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. The first 31 measures progress through the melody one time and can be used as a stand-alone performance. This first part of the arrangement is perfect for introducing new players to Bells and Boomwhackers®. Beginning in measure 32, the arrangement becomes more challenging by embellishing the melody, adding eighth notes, and alternating the chopstick theme between the parts. This second section utilizes more advanced note-reading and rhythmic skills and helps develop the ringing and whacking techniques needed for more advanced songs. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord reference chart is also provided. To aid in the learning and teaching of this song or for use with other instruments (such as a Ukulele), chord names are included on the Boomwhackers® staff and score. In addition, a complete set of scores for 4 ringers and 3 whackers is provided. Though there are multiple combinations for the number of ringers and whackers needed for any given performance, this extra set of scores is specifically designed for 7 performers with 2 notes assigned to each player. For each ringer and whacker, the 1-staff score shows only the notes they are assigned. This alternate score format may be easier to sight-read since the only notes on the staff are the assigned notes allowing the player to focus on rhythm. This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to distinguish (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. Notes used for each instrument are as follows: Bells ~ C D E F G A B C* where C* is high C, one octave above middle C Boomwhackers® ~ C D E F G B Note assignment suggestions are provided. Other suggestions and uses:* have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers®* form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® * use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groupsPermission is granted to make as many copies as needed for one family, church, school, or other performing group. Please purchase additional copies for multiple groups or organizations. Boomwhackers® is a registered trademark of Rhythm Band Instruments LLC.
