Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792085). Fantasy and Fugue in D minor BWV 905 is one of Bach's least known works originally written for keyboard. The Fantasy is of moderate tempo and relatively short. The top two lines have many suspensions while the bottom line (optionally performed on Tuba) is scalelike. The Fugue is more lengthy with the top lines trading off short repeated passages while the bass line winds around alternating scales and octave jumps. Mr. Sauer's excellent arrangement is appropriate for advanced performers and is about 6 minutes in length.

Celtiberian Fantasy was designed to be performed by a group of five artists, or even seven, nine, one thousand or more! Any kind of diatonic Harp can be used to perform this piece. The harp part can also be performed as a solo piece. When performing the piece solo and according to the size of the harp or the needs of the artist of course, it is possible to transpose the left hand part an octave lower and to open many of its chords or adding a bass without damaging the caracter of the music. When playing the harp with the rest of the ensemble it might be better to perform it mostly as it is written. The double bass is a soloist but it can be reenforced with a cello. Otherwise the cello joins the ensemble only in the „Tutti. However in the absence of a Double bass, than should the cello take its part. A Cello should always be present in the case that a little stringed orquestra performs the piece. It is a perfect piece for a mixed group of early beginners and „early soloists, it is very easy to perform by experienced artists. It can be played by a group of five artists, as well as a complete string orquestra with harp. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score as a performance suggestion. Most of the score is left virgin to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of bowing and fingering. It is a very flexible piece that can be used in all kinds of events. (Spanish below) Based on the suite A Symphonic Fantasy, we did a conversion with three of the most remembered melodies from Mary Poppins. You have an intro with chim-chim-cheree, followed by feed the birds, but they don't fully develop. After that, A Spoon of Sugar, with the birds part made by the first violin and the second and viola enkoying. The next part is, now complete, Chim-Chim-Cheree, with the melody starting in the cello, and then passing by the rest of instruments from lower to higher. When the second plays the melody, the first plays a counter-theme a little bit tricky. And, in the end, now complete, Feed the Birds, with constant dialogs between the violins. Tested and approved arrangement. Bass part is optional. All Nonamé arrangements are prepared to avoid page turns if you print the covers properly.
