“When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder” for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers® (with Color Coded Notes)
Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Xylophon…
(+)
Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Xylophone - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565975 By Sharon Wilson. By James M. Black. Arranged by Sharon Wilson Music. Children,Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred,Traditional. Score and parts. 38 pages. Sharon Wilson #6612669. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565975). NOTE: This song has many eighth notes and may take beginners longer to learn and master. Those with a little music experience will probably have an easier time learning this arrangement and have a lot of fun with the quick tempo. For beginning musicians or for introducing new players to Handbells and Boomwhackers®, I recommend starting with an easy song which uses only quarter notes and rests in the score such as God Is So Good for 8-note Bells and Boomwhackers®. This sheet music is notated for 13-note (one octave, C to C chromatic scale) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord reference chart is also provided. To aid in the learning and teaching of this song or for use with other instruments (such as a Ukulele), chord names are included on the Boomwhackers® staff and score. Lyrics are provided on the grand staff for sing along enjoyment or when using this arrangement as the accompaniment for a unison choir. In addition, a complete set of scores for 4 ringers and 4 whackers is provided. Though there are multiple combinations for the number of ringers and whackers needed for any given performance, this extra set of scores is specifically designed for 8 performers with 1 to 3 notes assigned to each player. For each ringer and whacker, the 1-staff score shows only the notes they are assigned. This alternate score format may be easier to sight-read since the only notes on the staff are the assigned notes allowing the player to focus on rhythm. This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. Only filled noteheads are used so the notes are full color and easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. All sharps and flats are displayed as well (shown in the key of C); a helpful reminder for beginning musicians. Note assignment suggestions are provided. Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® * use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groupsPermission is granted to make as many copies as needed for one family, church, school, or other performing group. Please purchase additional copies for multiple groups or organizations. Boomwhackers® is a registered trademark of Rhythm Band Instruments LLC. Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Voice,Xylophone - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565446 By Sharon Wilson. By Traditional. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Folk,Spiritual,Standards,Traditional. Score and parts. 8 pages. Sharon Wilson #4357227. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565446). This sheet music is notated for 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). This arrangement includes two verses. The first verse is easy with fewer notes. The second verse is intermediate and expands the melody by adding more notes. If you want to learn (practice) only the easy verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord chart is also provided to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. Lyrics are provided as well for sing along enjoyment.  Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this song is playable by any 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel (though the color coding may not match). This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. If you have a set of bells or tubes with a different color scheme, Chroma-Notes Stick Ons can be purchased and applied so the instruments match the Boomwhackers® color scheme. This set of scores is also available (separate purchase) in black and white which will print clearer if you do not have access to a color printer.Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. Note assignment suggestions are included.Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® (this would amplify the sound and allow more people to participate)* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, children’s ministriesThis song is one of the 20 arrangements in the collection Folk Songs for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers® (with Color Coded Notes), VOL. 2. CHOPSTICKS: The Celebrated Chop Stick Waltz for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers (Color Coded Notes)

Mixed Percussion Bells,Boomwhackers,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Xylophone - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.569889 By Sharon Wilson. By Arthur de Lulli. Arranged by Sharon Wilson Music. 20th Century,Children,Folk,Instructional,March. 46 pages. Sharon Wilson #6616395. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.569889). This sheet music is notated for 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating a 2-part instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). For most of the song, the Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. The first 31 measures progress through the melody one time and can be used as a stand-alone performance. This first part of the arrangement is perfect for introducing new players to Bells and Boomwhackers®. Beginning in measure 32, the arrangement becomes more challenging by embellishing the melody, adding eighth notes, and alternating the chopstick theme between the parts. This second section utilizes more advanced note-reading and rhythmic skills and helps develop the ringing and whacking techniques needed for more advanced songs. In addition, a complete set of scores for 4 ringers and 3 whackers is provided. Though there are multiple combinations for the number of ringers and whackers needed for any given performance, this extra set of scores is specifically designed for 7 performers with 2 notes assigned to each player. Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to distinguish (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. Notes used for each instrument are as follows: Bells ~ C D E F G A B C* where C* is high C, one octave above middle C Boomwhackers® ~ C D E F G B Note assignment suggestions are provided. Other suggestions and uses:* have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers®* form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® * use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groupsPermission is granted to make as many copies as needed for one family, church, school, or other performing group. Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Multi-Percussion,Orff Instrument,Ukulele,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565220 By Sharon Wilson. By Traditional. Arranged by Sharon Wilson and Sharon Wilson Music. Children,Folk,Instructional,Multicultural,World. Score and parts. 12 pages. Sharon Wilson #3624233. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565220). This arrangement includes two verses. The first verse is easy with fewer notes. The second verse is intermediate and expands the melody by adding more notes. If you want to learn (practice) only the easy verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this song is playable by any 13-note, C to C chromatic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel. The melody could also be played by a recorder. Lyrics and chord names are provided as well to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. Lyrics and chord names are provided as well to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. Instrument assignment suggestions are provided.Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® (this would amplify the sound and allow more people to participate)* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, children’s ministriesThis song is one of the 20 arrangements in the collection Folk Songs for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers® (with Color Coded Notes), VOL. 1. To aid in the learning and teaching of this song or for use with other instruments (such as a Ukulele), chord names are included on the grand staff and Boomwhackers® score. Lyrics are provided on the grand staff and Handbells score for sing along enjoyment or when using this arrangement as the accompaniment for a unison choir. In addition, a complete set of scores for 4 ringers and 4 whackers is provided. Though there are multiple combinations for the number of ringers and whackers needed for any given performance, this extra set of scores is specifically designed for 8 performers with 2 notes assigned to each player. If you have a set of bells or tubes with a different color scheme, Chroma-Notes Stick Ons can be purchased and applied so the instruments match the Boomwhackers® color scheme. Small Ensemble Boomwhackers,Piano Accompaniment - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.569864 By Sharon Wilson. By Traditional French Carol. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Christmas,Multicultural,Sacred,Standards,World. Score and parts. 10 pages. Sharon Wilson #6609321. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.569864). This sheet music is arranged for a one octave, 13-note chromatic scale Boomwhackers® choir with Piano accompaniment. The piano provides an introduction then the Boomwhackers® play the melody and occasional 2-part harmony. An optional repeat and second ending is included in case a longer song is desired. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instruments (Boomwhackers® and Piano) on a grand staff plus a separate color-coded score for the Boomwhackers®. The color-coded Boomwhackers® score uses the Chroma-Notes™ Colored Music System. If you have a set of tubes with a different color scheme, Chroma-Notes Stick Ons can be purchased and applied so the Boomwhackers® match this color scheme. A color-coded note chart is also provided showing the Boomwhackers® notes used for this arrangement as well as the number of times each note is played. The note distribution is helpful when assigning notes to whackers. You may want to assign fewer notes to beginners or evenly distribute the tubes between all whackers. The color-coded score is enlarged so the colors are easier to distinguish and all sharps and flats are displayed (shown in the key of C) as reminders for beginning whackers. Also, only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to see. Other suggestions and uses: * use multiple sets of Boomwhackers® to amplify the sound and allow more people to enjoy whacking the tubes * use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church * these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, just to name a few Permission is granted to make up to 10 copies of each score. For more than 10 copies, please purchase additional sets. This arrangement is one of the 10 songs in the collection Christmas Carols (Collection of 10 Color-Coded Arrangements for One Octave Boomwhackers® with Piano). Small Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Recorder,Ukulele,Voice,Xylophone - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565225 By Sharon Wilson. By Traditional. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Folk,Instructional,Standards,Traditional. Score and parts. 8 pages. Sharon Wilson #3624277. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565225). This sheet music is notated for 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. A note and chord reference chart is also provided. This arrangement includes two verses. Both verses are easy though the second verse has a few extra notes. Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this song is playable by any 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel. The melody could also be played by a recorder. 1.
