Ah, scostati!...Smanie implacabili (Dorabella) from Così fan tutte - Accessible Accompaniments Ed.
Mezzo-Soprano Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1186002 Compose…
(+)
Mezzo-Soprano Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1186002 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. Classical,Opera. 10 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #785660. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1186002). The first of its kind, this is a much more readable and sight-playable piano/vocal reduction of Ah, scostati!...Smanie implacabili,†Dorabella’s first aria from Mozart’s Così fan tutte (1790). The sextuplets in the right hand found in most standard reductions have been condensed into triplets with a grace note, emphasizing that the gestural shape is what needs to be heard rather than every individual note, and the result is a much clearer and less note-filled score for the audition pianist. Some large spans in the left hand have also been reduced out and redistributed for more ergonomic playing on long audition days. When a grace note has an accidental that is then repeated later in the gesture, I’ve rewritten that accidental on the full-size note containing it for ease of reading (so the cue-size accidental is not the only indication of said accidental in the measure, which would make it too easy to miss). The recitative “Ah, scostati!†is also included with slight alterations and courtesy accidentals in the melodic minor scales. As with any Accessible Accompaniments edition that’s not also an audition/solo cut, I suggest bringing two copies to each audition: one Accessible Accompaniment and one copy of a standard edition. Audition pianists who don’t know the aria will almost always choose the cleaner look of the Accessible Accompaniment, but those who know “Smanie†well might prefer to play from the edition they learned it from. This will provide singers and their audition pianists every chance of a successful collaboration. All Accessible Accompaniments, including this one, boast several unique features:1. No reduction ever requires stretches of over an octave, not including bass notes meant to be held or “fudged†with the pedal (though octaves may also contain chord tones within them). This reduces the amount of rearranging that smaller-handed pianists must already do. Obviously, further reworkings are to be expected and pianists should feel free to add to or modify what I’ve provided.2. I’ve included less essential, but potentially desirable additional voices/passages in cue-size noteheads so that pianists can easily see them, but know that they are not necessary in a “sink or swim†accompanying situation. Presenting less essential material in cue-size noteheads also reduces visual clutter on the page.3. In addition to the composer’s markings, when needed, I have included additional courtesy accidentals.4. All page turns have been carefully selected so as to result in the least possible disruption to the pianist when possible. 5. When known, I’ve noted alternate cuts that singers might like to take within certain arias.6. I’ve also replaced text “cresc.†and “dim.†markings with hairpins, which are easier to see in high-pressure sight-reading situations.About the Arranger:Praised as a sensitive pianist and outstanding accompanist who delivers powerful interpretations, Nicole Elyse DiPaolo enjoys a multifaceted career as a sought-after collaborative pianist, educational composer, arranger, coach, private teacher, and adjunct music professor. Currently based in the Cleveland area, Ms. DiPaolo has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Ambassador Chamber Players on multiple occasions and as a recitalist, collaborator, and presenter worldwide. Lute - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q43659 For the complete beginner to the advanced student. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Schott Music - Digital #Q43659. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q43659). English. With the benefit of her many years' study of the repertoire and teaching of the instrument, Diana Poulton has completely re-cast her earlier book (An Introduction to Lute Playing, 1961) to produce, in A Tutor for the Renaissance Lute, the most comprehensive method for the lute based on Renaissance precepts. The book will be found equally useful to students working alone – giving clear instructions on all technical matters, progressively introduced according to their difficulty – and to teachers (providing a source of some seventy-five pieces from which to structure their pupils' progress). The advanced student, too, will find that much of the music is suitable for recital programmes.

Brass Ensemble Horn - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.931276 Composed by Alessandro Macrì. Baroque,Classical,Concert,Instructional,Standards. Score and parts. 10 pages. Music Macri Editions #6082045. Published by Music Macri Editions (A0.931276).

Voice, recorder and percussion - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q23985 Pentatonig. Composed by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman. This edition: score for voice and/or instruments. Orff-Schulwerk. Downloadable, Vocal and performing score. Op. 1. Schott Music - Digital #Q23985. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q23985). Welsh.Carl Orff devoted much of his life to the development of a philosophy of Music for Children, based on his belief that music is the natural outcome of speech, rhythm and movement. His ideas and pioneering work have had a major influence on music and dance education throughout the world and today that work continues under the guidance of leading teachers and educators in many countries. The five basic German volumes of Music for Children by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman were published between 1950 and 1954. Edition have since been published in Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Ghana, Great Britain (including a special Welsh edition), Greece, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latin-America, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the USA. In 1952 the first edition in translation appeared, an English language adaptation by Doreen Hall and Arnold Walter for their Canadian and American students. A few years later, Margaret Murray independently developed a version (1957-1966), essentially to fulfil the needs of United Kingdom teachers. Inevitably the considerable growth of Orff-Schulwerk in the United States led to the publication of the American Edition (1977) to satisfy the requirements of a different educational system and national heritage. Orff-Schulwerk: Music for Children has proved itself to be a stimulating source of material for music teaching. Carl Orff's fundamental educational ideas have revitalized music education in nursery schools, at all levels of primary and secondary education and in special music schools, based on the concepts that: - music, dance and language are inter-related and animated through rhythm. - when children discover, invent, improvise and compose, their experience of music is intensified. These creative activities are complementary to those of interpreting and listening to music. - all who take part are encouraged to contribute, not only vocally but also instrumentally. - the Orff approach to music education is many sided; it is concerned with practical music-making, it provides fundamental experiences and it lays the foundation for a comprehensive musical training. - movement games and activities for body awareness in space, time and flow, lead to movement improvisation and dance forms. - music and dance have been notated in many different ways in history. Various ways of writing down sounds and music, as well as playing from and interpreting different kinds of sources are being explored. Today, countless teachers and institutions are using these ideas. More and more teachers look for ways of invovling their students in active music making. In particular, they seek to challenge their pupils' creativity by the use of music, dance and speech - as media of human expression - as a foundation of all education. A prerequisite for work in Orff-Schulwerk is the artistic and pedagogical training of teachers. The Orff Institute was founded in 1961 as a Department of the 'Mozarteum', in Salzburg, Austria. Training offered includes a four-year diploma course, a two-year post-graduate course, and a one-year-course in English. At the opening of the Orff Institute in Salzburg in 1963, Carl Orff ended his speech with a quotation from Schiller: 'I have done my part, now do yours.' That challenge has been taken up by teachers worldwide. Welsh Edition This volume closely follows the English Volume 1, substituting Welsh for English wherever words are used in speech or song. It should be used in conjunction with the English version, since only the sung and spoken parts are provided.

More and more teachers look for ways of involving their students in active music making. Murray Edition English adaption, with additional material, by Margaret Murray. Besed on, and containing all the rhythmic and instrumental material from the main five volumes of the original German edition. Contents of this second volume: Songs and pieces using the full major scale. Accompaniments are founded on drone bass with the later addition of simple chords.

So grab your sheet music and get ready to make some beautiful music! ||Notes On the Sheet Music|| -Melody- The melody alters slightly on repeating for subsequent verses etc. These are notated using smaller bracketed note heads and should only be played/sung on the appropriate repeats. The decision was made to not notate the final chorus as sung however when performed/sung the final chorus could be ad-libbed to emulate the original should the performer desire.-Guitar Strumming- There is a suggested strumming pattern/rhythm contained within the intro. This will fit with the song but feel free to come up with your own! This is to be an aid for learners and a resource for teachers. -Structure- The sheet music follows the structure of the song as heard in the recording. If the repeats are not obvious each section (Verse/PreChorus/Chorus) is marked by boxed texts for ease of navigation. I have also provided a tab for the riff which persists throughout the piece in the intro section. -Length- One of my main aims in arranging popular titles is to make the effort to try and minimise the amount of pages required. As a Musician I hate having pages and pages of music that could have been condensed using repeats and other structure markings. This arrangement fully utilises these and this is part of the reason why the decision was made note to notate the final chorus as sung in the recording. As this is a lead sheet it hold all the info to play this song in two pages. -Alternatives- If you need more info in your music I have two other arrangements of this. Both are Voice, Piano, and Guitar Arrangements, the first with the melody above a simple piano accompaniment with the Guitar chords the second is a piano reduction of this arrangement with alterations so that it is playable on the piano.
