Celtiberian Fantasy For Harp and Strings

Small Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Harp,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889414 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 40 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #3478441. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889414). Celtiberian Fantasy For Harp And Strings written for the - 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry. Dear music Lovers and Friends. Celtiberian Fantasy was designed to be performed by a group of five artists, or even seven, nine, one thousand or more! Any kind of diatonic Harp can be used to perform this piece. The harp part can also be performed as a solo piece. When performing the piece solo and according to the size of the harp or the needs of the artist of course, it is possible to transpose the left hand part an octave lower and to open many of its chords or adding a bass without damaging the caracter of the music. When playing the harp with the rest of the ensemble it might be better to perform it mostly as it is written. The double bass is a soloist but it can be reenforced with a cello. Otherwise the cello joins the ensemble only in the „Tutti. However in the absence of a Double bass, than should the cello take its part. A Cello should always be present in the case that a little stringed orquestra performs the piece. It is a perfect piece for a mixed group of early beginners and „early soloists, it is very easy to perform by experienced artists. It can be played by a group of five artists, as well as a complete string orquestra with harp. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score as a performance suggestion. Most of the score is left virgin to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of bowing and fingering. It is a very flexible piece that can be used in all kinds of events. The score For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entrywas written on Finale. The sound file For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry, was produced with samplers from Garritan, conceived as an audio support for the presentation of the score. It is a Harp Quintet with a Double Bass instead of a Cello. Another audio version with the full orquestra will be found in sound cloud at „Anjos Teixeira Music. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. This is the first time that it has been published in Sheet Music Plus. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Luis Anjos Teixeira Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the cover design, all the Love and inspiration. Small Ensemble B-Flat Clarinet,Horn,Viola,Xylophone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1080531 Composed by William Brenner. Classical,Contemporary. Score and parts. 31 pages. William Brenner #684755. Published by William Brenner (A0.1080531). Nature Morte | by William Brenner (Still life) For quartet: Clarinet in Bb, Horn in F, Viola and Xylophone This is my final project for my 2nd semester in college. I hope you enjoy it! The piece explores complex musical writing and technical elements. My goal was to explore this kind of composition while following my typical way of writing music: expressing a story or an image through music. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Program note: Many times throughout history, cycles and elements of nature like birth, death and, of course, love have been extremely rich sources of inspiration for composers. However, even though it has been the main subject of many musical works in the past, it is still pretty rare for nature to be represented as a cycle used when describing humankind. Therefore, the goal of the piece Nature Morte is to not only show the cycle of life present in nature, but also address the cohabitation of death and life within this same cycle. Paintings by Jan Wijnants like Le repos des chasseurs aux faucons et Paysage avec bovins sur une route de campagne wonderfully illustrates this phenomena. This dutch painter often uses dead trees and big tree stumps in his work, which symbolizes typical fields and landscapes from the 17th century. This demonstration of coexistence between life and death, as well as this idea of cycles within life in nature, are the main sources of inspiration for this piece. Given that the idea of life and death within nature is inspired by motionless elements in visual art, it explains the chosen title: Nature morte (which could translate as “Still lifeâ€).

Luis Anjos Teixeira #3479405. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889415). Dear music Lovers and Friends. Gnome`s Dream revealed in the2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry. Gnome`s Dream was designed to be performed by a group of five artists, or even seven, nine, one thousand or more! Any kind of diatonic Harp can be used to perform this piece. When playing the harp with the rest of the ensemble it might be better to perform it mostly as it was written. In the absence of a Double bass, than should the cello take its part. In the case of an ensemble with more artists where we have already formed a bowed stringed orquestra, The double bass while playing the introduction of the piece remains a soloist and it will than be reenforced with a cello while the other bowed instruments are also playing. It would be good to tune the E string of the double bass down to a D but if this is not possible than simply play the lower „D notes one octave higher. It is a perfect piece for a mixed group of early beginners and „early soloists, it is very easy to perform. It can be played by a group of five artists, as well as a complete string orquestra with harp. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score as a performance suggestion. Large Ensemble Cello,Clarinet,Flute,Piano,Piccolo,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841258 Composed by Chris Gordon. 20th Century. Score and parts. 39 pages. Cool Wind Music Digital #3056419. Published by Cool Wind Music Digital (A0.841258). Full set of parts: Please contact Chris Gordon at the email address on the first page of music for details.IF NOT NOW, WHEN? If Not Now, When? gets its title from the novel by Primo Levi, the Italian author who both survived life in Auschwitz and fought the continued German military presence in Italy with the Resistance after the Italian surrender to the Allies in September 1943. Levi meant that revolution and the overthrow of tyranny should never be 'put off until tomorrow'. If you believe you are on the side of right, then 'seize the day'- tomorrow may be too late. The inspiration for INNW? grew from research I was doing into an early song by Alban Berg called An Leukon which Berg wrote in 1907 while a student of Arnold Schoenberg. In delving into the kind of world which Berg inhabited in the Vienna of 100 years ago, I was fascinated by the café culture* which played a pivotal role in the lives of most artists: not only composers, but also writers, painters, architects and journalists. They swirled around the fashionable 'watering holes' sucking up current thoughts and ideas, high on Viennese coffee, cigar smoke and idealism! I envisaged a play which tried to encapsulate all this and wrote a few scenes with characters such as Schoenberg, Berg, Webern, Steuermann, Pisk, Kraus, Gropius and Altenberg heatedly discussing music, art and poetry over large cups of milky coffee. This grew into the framework for INNW? which, to paraphrase Pirandello's play about characters seeking an author, is a 'play without words in several scenes'. The piece is organised into 8 short movements or 'scenes' showing the 'Schoenberg cirle' sharing their radical and daring ideas and the shock or delight (or both simultaneously) with which those ideas are greeted. The first, which happens to be the longest, is rooted in conventional tonality. It begins with a fanfare in D flat major ('aux armes, citoyens!'), then seeks a 'freer' tonality by means of the 'emancipation of the semitone' only to capitulate in the central section and, finally, to 'fall back to earth' by winding down in G sharp minor. These 'scenes' are not meant to represent particular composers. They are, however, meant to represent the kinds of directions in which music could progress, given the 'breakdown' or 'stretching to its limits' of traditional harmony which had occurred in the previous 10 to 20 years. So many ways forward were promulgated, with one after another extraordinary, and often unexpected, futuristic musical panoramas glimpsed momentarily. My aim is to demonstrate which directions they decided they could head in having cleared the 'overgrown' path before them. * I even discovered that, around this time, in the Café Central, a certain Leon (Lev) Bronstein, otherwise known as Leon Trotsky, banished by the Okhrana (Imperial secrect police) from his native Russia, would spend all day in a back room playing chess. How delicious, I thought, if Schoenberg had ever brushed passed Trotsky or, indeed, had ever spoken to him: the one planning political and the other musical revolution!

(Choral) - Digital Download SKU: H1.8606DP Author Collections. Hymntune, General Worship. Hymn Collection. 163 pages. Hope Publishing - Digital #8606DP. Published by Hope Publishing - Digital (H1.8606DP). Shirley Erena Murray. While not much concerned about posterity, I offer this collection for the here and now, as a kind of spiritual autobiography of the years since writing 'Touch the Earth Lightly' (Hope, 2009). The themes will tell you that I have not ceased to centre on peace, partnered with justice, as these related to our own faith journey. But now that I find my life further away from the church and closer to what Jesus is actually pointing to, new elements come into play. Here is one: I have used the words of the hymn 'A Place at the Table' as title for this book, because there are still Christian people not welcome, either at the communion table or at the common table of society. . . . Creating justice and joy means walking into the territory of basic human rights, as Jesus did. It means being aware of our own fragility as well as our planet's, and using technology wisely. . . . Because I live in a highly secular society in Aotearoa/New Zealand, I am conscious of how the stereotypes of Christianity can be cynically dismissed. I long to say that there is so much to understand and embrace in the wisdom, spiritual treasury and survival skills that Jesus has given the world. It is also an interfaith and interactive world I live in, so some of these texts reflect my hope for the 'care and connection making us kin' that seems imperative for our human survival. . . . These hymns - be they attempting the pastoral, the prophetic or the impossible - are my present way to express this for myself, and hopefully, for you. - Shirley Erena Murray

Large Ensemble Clarinet,Flute,Harp,Horn,Multi-Percussion,Timpani,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889417 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 32 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #3490179. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889417). for the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry,Moon Over The Rising Sun was written very early in the morning while the night fades away giving birth to a sun rise. Conceived for a mixed ensemble of nine to 10 performers. 2 Flutes, Clarinet, Horn, guitar, Harp, Violin, Viola, 1 Timpanist, 1 or 2 Percussionists. The piece has an intime atmosphere very common in chamber music. Very easy to perform and very flexible, it is ideal for schools or when various kinds of mixed ensembles are taking place. With very few effort from the players, it has a large effect on the audience. As I said the piece is very flexible, for exemple the shakuhachi flute can be replaced by a soprano recorder or any other kind of flute with a similar register. A piano could eventually replace the harp. Due to a certain Tutti caracter on the string section, more violins, violas and cellos would easily join the group. One Cello or Double Bass „Pizzicato could reenforce the left hand on the harp part. Other wise and when possible, it should be performed as written. I also have added some interpretation symbols like fortes and pianos but only as a personal suggestion for an interpretation. Of course the artists must decide how they prefer to perform the piece and should have the last word on their performances. The score was written on Finale. The sound file For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry, was performed with samplers from Garritan and conceived as an audio support for the presentation of the score. This is the first time that this version is published in Sheet Music Plus or anywhere else! This piece was inspired by some aspects of western, eastern, African and american cultures. The list of inspiring human phenomena and achievement within art and music never find an end. There is so much to learn! For now let the World play music. Music is the ultimate Universal language. Imagine we all playing music with each other. The World full of music schools and instruments instead of military camps and weapons. Millions of beautiful people with music instruments in their hands playing music with each other all around the World. Our war lords would start opening music shops for a change. And we would live much happier!!! Music Can Save The World Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the cover design, all the Love and inspiration. Small Ensemble Bass Clarinet,Pipa - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.982536 Composed by William Grosvenor Neil. Contemporary. Score and parts. 41 pages. TheComposerStudio.Com, LLC #6701343. Published by TheComposerStudio.Com, LLC (A0.982536). Other Echoes Inhabit the Garden (2009) for clarinet, bass clarinet, pipa, and erhu (score and parts) I composed this piece imagining myself in a garden of images, sonorities, and aromas that all merge in an idyllic moment in time. I have taken a line from one of T.S.Eliot’s poems in the Four Quartets, for my title, Other Echoes Inhabit the Garden. The poem, Burnt Norton, concludes with the poignant truth that humankind cannot bear very much reality. I often wonder whether my work as a composer really has any significance or meaning beyond helping my listeners temporarily escape their personal realities. In recalling Eliot’s line, What might have been and what has been/ point to one end, which is always present I am reminded that a melody, a single line of lyric pitch flow evokes memory in the mind of the listener and that rhythm and accent often draws our attention to the present moving towards the future. So, with these inherent powersof music in mind, it was my goal to create a piece of vibrant and engaging music that relentlessly draws the listener into the present moment. Eliot also alludes to a timeless merging of present and past in this poem. His line, then a cloud passed and the pool was empty brought back memories of being a child watching clouds almost unnoticeably move across the sky. I was similarly inspired to conclude Other Echoes Inhabit the Garden with music that evokes an ecstatic stillness tempered with a longing for the past. WGN

Brass Ensemble Euphonium,Horn,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.802608 By Steve Green. By Greg Nelson and Phill McHugh. Arranged by Peet du Toit. Christian,Gospel. Score and parts. 11 pages. Peet du Toit #5983089. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.802608). Steve Green is the son of missionaries. It therefore seemed natural that this song written by Greg Nelson and Phil McHugh which pictures hungry, hurting people who are unaware of the Christian message, would resonate with him. However, Green had a life-changing experience when he realized he'd been living a fake and phoney life, where he'd been doing the right things but with the wrong motives. He'd therefore understood his desperate need for a Saviour and ran to Jesus for what He alone can provide. As a consequence, when this song was pitched to him, Green had just come through a pretty significant life turn-around. The singer recalled to CCM Magazine presents 100 Greatest Songs In Christian Music: It resonated for two reasons - first, because my parents had given their lives to evangelize, and their love for the people they were serving around the world was motivated by Christ's love for them; so that was definitely one of the reasons why I gravitated to the song. The other reason was that for the for the first time, I suppose, I was realizing that it isn't just those who never heard about the Lord who needed him. I knew that I was surrounded by people just like me who were living kind of an external, performance-based Christianity, but they had no light. I started thinking of us as the 'elder brothers' - those who never ran away from home but were just as lost as the prodigal.Watch Steve Green singing this heartfelt song on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nbxvc6eeXso .I found this music and lyrics so inspiring and beautiful, I just had to translate it to brass instruments. Enjoy!

Mixed Percussion B-Flat Tuba,B-Flat trombone,Baritone Horn TC/Euphonium,Bass Trombone,E-Flat Cornet,E-Flat Tenor Horn,E-Flat Tuba TC,Flugelhorn,Percussion 1,Percussion 2,Tenor Trombone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767031 Composed by Mike Lyons. 20th Century,Contemporary,Multicultural,Patriotic,World. Brass Band. 185 pages. Lyons Music Services #46377. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767031). This is an arrangement for Brass Band of my Flute Octet of the same name. It will need at least a 1st section band to handle the last movement. This might be a good piece to use in an entertainments contest. There is quite a bit for the percussion to do which took some doing as the original had none. The four movements represent my thoughts about Canada and its people. 1. March for the Frontiersmen: Canada has a lot of wilderness that has not been spoiled by man. This movement represents the rugged frontiersmen pushing through the Canadian forests. 2. The Great White Cold: I imagined the bitter freezing cold and icy beauty of Canadian winters (not that I have ever experienced such) and I used some slightly unusual techniques to create the impression of a cold wind blowing across the arctic scenery. 3. Campfire Songs: I had this vision of the great outdoors with Canadian families going camping in the mountainous regions sitting round their campfire at night and singing songs. I had no idea at the time whether Canadians were campfire songsters or what kinds of songs they might choose, so I selected a number of ’folk’ songs from the Great Canadian Tune Book and incorporated them into this movement. 4. The New Found Land: This movement moves to Canada’s eastern seaboard and I imagined new emigrants to the country arriving at a busy harbour and seeing all the hustle and bustle of a lively community and sea port. With some difficulty the debarkees find their land legs but then become absorbed in the lively new world to which they have moved.

Chording to the Dance Masters Full Score Version with chords Book 1 - Score Only

Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1133711 By Various. By Anonymous, Giorgio Mainerio, Michael Praetorius, Pierre Attaignant, Pierre Certon, Pierre Phalese, and Tielman Susato. Arranged by Alastair Lodge. Early Music,Folk,Historic,Medieval,Renaissance. 50 pages. Wold Meridian #733808. Published by Wold Meridian (A0.1133711). This is a companion to my earlier volume Chording to the Dance Masters which presented 44 of my favourite Renaissance Dance band tunes and arranged them as a single melody line with chords derived from the original harmony lines. In this volume I have reunited 22 of the pieces with the lower parts in the score, so that with more collaborators, the fullness of the original arrangement can be heard. The chords are still present, so if the ensemble is short handed, and lines are missing, the arrangements will still work. What is more, by contrasting the melody and chords with the full scoring, it should be possible to work some light and shade into performances. You can hear all the pieces and their chords on YouTube together with contemporary art and historical background material:https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYRWH2nycMkMoIoEYEMVPa_EXY6NVDpNSAs a help to those less confident in playing harmony lines, I have provided links to playlists of videos online for each part of each piece. You will hear the selected line on its own with chords and percussion, with the melody line added on repeats. The final repeat includes the other harmony lines, but the featured line is slightly louder in the mix. The performance starts with a percussion beat introduction to set the tempo.Who were the Publishers and the Dance Masters? What did they do? Sometime around the 1500s, the popularity of dance music exploded in Europe. Dance Masters were collecting chansons and dance tunes from courts and rural parts and were teaching these to new audiences, spreading their arrangements and reflecting the performance styles of the areas from which they had collected the tunes. Publishers were able to take these tunes that were becoming known across the regions and nations and spread them even more widely, thanks to technological innovations in music printing which made it quicker and therefore cheaper to produce collections of these dances in four or more parts. These publishers were often highly accomplished composers in their own right, who were both able to provide distinctive harmony lines and compose new tunes in the style of their sources, feeding the courts with enduring tunes. Composers and printers of this time would often use note values that are double the length of those we would be used to seeing today, and so to make this version more readable, breves have become semibreves or whole notes, semibreves have become minims or half notes and so on. Working with this publication For those just starting out in Early Music, the volume is an ideal introduction, since the ensemble can build from a soloist with accompaniment with the chords alone, and parts can be added in as additional musicians become available. Instrumentation for these pieces was not specified in the original prints. The range of each part is quite limited, and though the harmonies may seem strange at times, key signatures are kind to the less experienced musician. If enthusiasm takes hold, then reproductions of early music instruments are sold by some very talented makers, as well as coming up on auction sites. Otherwise, it is possible to put together a fairly convincing ensemble with recorders, violins, a cello and mandolins, bouzoukis, flutes or guitars and gradually introduce the authentic instruments as they become available.

Arranged by Alastair Lodge. Early Music,Folk,Historic,Medieval,Renaissance. 50 pages. Wold Meridian #733832. Published by Wold Meridian (A0.1133721). 2 flutes of the Same Kind - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.7.0663-E Composed by Stanley M. Hoffman. Score. 6 pages. Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital #7.0663-E. Published by Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital (MQ.7.0663-E). This work, first scored for piano solo, was composed for the 2008 Sejong Music Composition Competition. Although it did not win a prize, having entered the competition left me with a neat little piano piece to show for it, as well as the present transcription which I created for flutist Peter Sheridan in 2015. The set of variations opens with the traditional Korean theme accompanied by arpeggios. This is followed by Variation 1, a sad waltz in the style of a Chopin waltz. Next comes Variation 2, a funeral march in the manner of Chopin’s Funeral March from the Piano Sonata in B-flat Minor, Op. 35. Variation 3 is a Tango written in tribute to one of my favorite composers, Astor Piazzolla. Variation 4 combined the Korean tune with motifs from the slow movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, The Pastoral. The set of variations closes with a repeat of the opening passage. -Stanley M. Hoffman.

Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.719765 Composed by Various. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Sacred. 8 pages. Curtis Hanson #6069389. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719765). As years come and go, one increasingly recalls memories of earlier times. One of the most vivid and cherished memories I have while growing up is of Sunday mornings, going to church, sitting in the same pew each week with my grandmother, hearing and singing the beautiful hymns of our faith, and then returning home to the aroma of beef slowly roasting in the oven. My father directed the church choir, my mother and older brothers sang in the choir, so the wonderful music of our faith was instilled in me from an early age. This medley, and others in the series, are arrangements of many of my favorite hymns from those early years, many of which have been lost in more recent editions. For this series, I have elected to use the older texts as that is the way they were first written and the way I first learned them. There is a reverence and beauty in the language enriching the vocal tone which, I believe, is lost in contemporary, conversational, or politically correct syntax. I shudder to think of the day when a penitential phrase such as Hear thou my prayer, O Lord is rendered as Hey, God-dude, listen up - I'm talkin' atcha! I have also opted not to include the many wonderful hymns and carols which are associated with the major festivals of Christmas and Easter as those are commonly found in other collections. A caveat: I have no delusions, and I offer no pretenses, that these settings are great art. They are simply expressions of faith which I hope may bring a small measure of joy to other church musicians. The general concept of each medley is to present the hymn, often in its original chorale form, and then vary its harmony or texture. The hymns in this set include My Faith Looks Up to Thee, Dear Lord and Father of Mankind, and Nearer, My God, to Thee. This collection of arrangements is also available for SATB voices and piano or piano solo.

Buffalo Dusk: Song for Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, or Tenor and Piano on a Poem by Carl Sandburg

Soprano voice, mezzo-soprano voice, or tenor voice and piano - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.9229-E Composed by Juliana Hall. 7 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #9229-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.9229-E). English.Written for Jun Mo Yang, a young tenor studying in the graduate Vocal Arts Program at the Bard Conservatory of Bard College. He and his fellow students were working on a special project studying contemporary composers whose work engages with climate change, environmentalism, and the natural environment. The students had been asked to read a chapter from David Haskell’s Sounds Wild and Broken and had further been given the following direction to guide them: “we are assigning each of you to a project in which you will seek out song repertoire from a living composer whose work responds to climate change or the natural environment, heightening our connection to and awareness of the natural world. This topic has arisen from a call to Bard faculty to #MakeClimateAClass: Bard faculty are urged to use our collective power as educators to engage with the climate change crisis.â€Jun wrote to me that he was drawn to my music and asked whether any of my songs might fit within this subject area. At the time I had plenty of songs that spoke of the natural world, but none I could categorize as specifically dealing with the class’ more narrow focus, so I offered to write this song on a poem by one of my favorite poets, Carl Sandburg, who even by the early twentieth century was noting the degradation of the natural environment and its impact on life of all kinds trying to adjust to changed circumstances brought on in one way or another by man. I quickly found the poem Buffalo Dusk, seeing how strongly it speaks of the extinction of species and the loss that represents. Jun and his teachers remarked what a “beautiful and sad poem†it was, so in short order I was pleased to present this song to Jun, who gave Buffalo Dusk its first performance in April of 2023 at the Bard Conservatory.

Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Handbell,Handchime,Voice,Xylophone - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565251 By Sharon Wilson. By Various. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. 20th Century,Children,Folk,Instructional,Traditional. Score and parts. 176 pages. Sharon Wilson #3626293. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565251). This sheet music collection of 20 folk songs is notated for 13-note (one octave, C to C chromatic scale) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. For each song, there is a combined score with both parts on a grand staff plus a separate 1-staff score for each individual part. A note and chord reference chart is also provided for each song. The songs in this digital book are ordered by difficulty with the easiest songs presented first. The songs progressively incorporate more challenging rhythms, some requiring rapid chord changes. Many of the songs include two verses. The first verse is “easy†with fewer notes. The second verse is “intermediate†and expands the melody by adding more notes (sometimes including harmony notes). If you want to learn (practice) only the “easy†verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. This set of scores uses black and white noteheads and is best suited for musicians already familiar with reading standard music notation. For beginning musicians, this same set of scores is available (sold separately) with color coded noteheads. Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. Lyrics and chord names are provided as well to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. Instrument assignment suggestions are provided for each song. Each of the 20 arrangements in this collection is also available separately with accompanying preview pages and audio samples. Large Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Harp,Oboe,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889419 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 36 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #3492515. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889419). For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry Eternal Bridge was made to be performed by a group of six soloists playing the following instruments: Oboe, Harp, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass. It is not a difficult piece once learned. It is really a great fun for the players and very easy listening too, It covers a very wide range of audience demands. There is a groove feeling on it that makes it very pleasant to most all people. Because of its plasticity the piece allows many interpretations, therefore I did not made much use of interpretation symbols in order to leave to the performers the freedom of doing their own. Bowing and fingering are left totally virgin at the hands of the schools or the creativity of the performing Artists. P.S. - The score was written on Finale. The sound file For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry, was performed with samplers from Garritan and conceived as an audio support for the presentation of the score. This is the first time that this version is published in Sheet Music Plus. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the cover design, all the Love and inspiration. Special Thanks to Nina and Stray Queen Mimi for my Family, all their Love Patience and Compassion. Love Forever.„The litle story of the - „Eternal BridgeEternal Bridge came out of a dream. Imagine a little railway station, a train that comes and stops, and your friends go inside. As you step on the little stairs to go inside, the doors close letting you out, and the train starts rolling. It speeds up very fast and enough so you can`t jump out of the little stairs back to the ground, you are holding now to the iron bars around the doors of the train, you see your friends and the people inside but they can`t see you, they can`t hear you, and you notice that the train is now on a bridge so high, that you can`t see the earth any more. Wind is blowing around me and I feel this cosmic cold and everything starts to twist around in a gigantic spiral. I still feel the Gravity but it goes in all directions at the same time pushing me violently and I feared to fail the grip on the iron bars and fall down, in an imaginary endless abyss. Little by little the speed of the events slows down progressively until everything freezes. Now, The other side of the bridge does not exist at all, neither the beginning or up or down. The train disappeared in a glimpse and I noticed that I was not falling down, just hanging there out in hyperspace, Free from Gravity. I lost the fear of falling in the abyss, it felt kind a good, because the only thing that I could see was light, pure beautiful bright white light, I was floating in light, I realised I could stay there forever, but then I felt lonely and wanted to come back home. When I finally woke up, I wrote this words in Portuguese and made a song out of it. the words go like:Ponte eterna abismo sem fundo - Vento ciclónico medo profundo - Comboio gelado lentidão d`aço - Espiral eterna suspensa no espaço - Maos agarram a vida duas barras d` aço - Corpo sacudido em espasmos de medo - Alucinação divina acordar de um sonho Eternal Bridge endless Abyss - Cyclonic wind deep Fear - Frozen Train slowness of steel - Eternal spiral suspended in space - Hands cling to life on two bars of steel - Body shaken into spasms of fear - Divine hallucination waking up from a dream
