This sassy solo in the style of Nina Simone's Feeling Good imagines a meeting between Revolutionary war heroes Sybil Ludington and Paul Revere. Ludington and Revere are both famous for heroic rides on horseback that helped spread the word of the impending arrival of British forces. Despite riding twice as far as Revere, avoiding capture by the British, and doing so at the age of sixteen, Ludington never achieved the legendary fame of her male counterpart. In this song, Sybil Ludington introduces herself her Paul Revere and warns him: once they've heard my tale I wonder if they'll think of you at all.

After a much more tame “Chorale-Préludeâ€, the fughetta on the verse (“Dashing Through the Snowâ€) leads to a finial exposition of the theme in a Toccata style. In diseer Rede nahm Scheele mehrmals Bezug auf Hummels 2. Sinfonie Reverenza. Zum darauf folgenden 73. Geburtstag des Bischofs revanchierte sich der Komponist mit dieser kleinen Reverenz im Dreivierteltakt, die mit vertinbaren Buchstaben der beiden Namen jongliert. Hochzeitswalzer Der Hochzeitswalzer erklang zum ersten Mal am Hochzeitsabend von Hummels Sohn Stefan David und dessen Frau Gabriele am Österreichischen Wolfgangsee. Die beiden Klavierparts wandern gleichnishaft gemeinsam oder alleine durch Höhen und Tiefen, durch Dur und Moll, um sich am Ende im strahlenden C-Dur zu vereinen.

It has since been covered more than 2,000 times; it holds the Guinness record for history's most recorded song. It topped charts around the world when it hit the record stores. Here's a snippet from Wikipedia to give you an idea of how revered it is: 'Yesterday' was voted the best song of the 20th century in a 1999 BBC Radio 2 poll of music experts and listeners and was also voted the No. 1 pop song of all time by MTV and Rolling Stone magazine the following year. In 1997, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Broadcast Music Incorporated asserts that it was performed over seven million times in the 20th century. JazzBlest is a completely original and delightful collection of Eucharistic service music that honors the traditional structure of an Anglican/Episcopal mass, while it reimagines the contours of its expression. The music is written for SATB voices, and is intended to be performed with the accompaniment of a jazz trio or quartet. The scores include lead sheets for the accompanists/soloists.The Gloria is joyous and uplifting, and the lyrics feature Wisdom as the image of the divine. The Gospel Acclamation features an infectious Afro-Cuban rhythm, while the setting for the Nicene Creed is both fresh and accessible; and can be readily taught to the congregation for regular use. The Doxology is a lively and textured tribute to the devotions of Anglican Caroline Divine, Lancelot Andrewes.
