String Ensemble,String Trio - Level 3 - SKU: A0.749756 Composed by J. Webster. Arranged by Stephen M. Taylor. Folk,Gospel,Holiday,Sacred,Traditional. Score and parts. 7 pages. SMT Music #5994839. Published by SMT Music (A0.749756). Joseph Webster penned this hymn with help of S. Fillmore Bennett back in 1868. Webster was feeling depressed and when his friend asked him what was the matter he replied, It's no matter, it will be all right by and by. With that Bennett started jotting down lyrics and Webster took to his fiddle and the song was written in about 30 min. It became a staple in the protestant hymnody and has been recorded by many country and gospel artists over the years. This is a simple arrangement for string trio with sort of theme and variations in the accompaniment. .

Guitar - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1449611 By Jacob Collier. By Jacob Collier. Arranged by Justin Roth. This edition: audio, pdf. Contemporary, Folk, Instructional, Pop, Singer/Songwriter. Guitar Tab. 11 pages. Rothirric Music #1029367. Published by Rothirric Music (A0.1449611). This transcription is an acoustic guitar arrangement by Justin Roth, created “in the style of Jacob” in Jacob’s signature DAE(G)AD tuning. Jacob has not performed or released an acoustic guitar version of this song to date. So, certain liberties were taken to adapt his keyboard voicings within the constraints of the range of notes available on the guitar in this tuning while staying as close to the original arrangement as possible. Despite the harmonic complexity of parts of the song, learn the easy and repeatable chord shapes that Jacob actually uses to make this song easier to play than you think. This transcription is intended as a chordal and rhythmic guide to the song, making it more accessible, no matter what your level of playing is. It also indicates primary and secondary chords, giving you the option to simplify the arrangment by eliminating secondary passing chords, if necessary. As a professional fingerstyle guitarist himself, arranger and transcriber, Justin Roth, has been teaching and transcribing Jacob Collier's guitar arrangements with precision and attention to detail unlike no other to date. Supplemental tutorial videos that accompany Justin's transcriptions are available here: https://bit.ly/JCtutorials

Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.1335055). Satie: Parade - Final & Suite au Prélude de rideau rougeArranged wind dectet/bass (double wind quintet)The concluding music for Erik Satie's Ballet Parade.Other movements from Parade are available. Background info:Parade is a ballet choreographed by Leonide Massine, with music by Erik Satie and a one-act scenario by Jean Cocteau. The ballet was composed in 1916–17 for Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes. The ballet premiered on Friday, May 18, 1917, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, with costumes and sets designed by Pablo Picasso, choreography by Léonide Massine (who danced), and the orchestra conducted by Ernest Ansermet. The ballet was remarkable for several reasons. It was the first collaboration between Satie and Picasso, and also the first time either of them had worked on a ballet, thus making it the first time either collaborated with Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes. The plot of Parade incorporated and was inspired by popular entertainments of the period, such as Parisian music-halls and American silent-films.Much of the settings used in Parade's plot occurred outside of the formal Parisian theater, depicting the streets of Paris. The plot reproduces various elements of everyday life such as the music hall and fairground. Before Parade, the use of popular entertainment materials was considered unsuitable for the elite world of the ballet. The plot of Parade composed by Cocteau includes the failed attempt of a troupe of performers to attract audience members to view their show. Some of Picasso's Cubist costumes were in solid cardboard, allowing the dancers only a minimum of movement. The score contained several noise-making instruments (typewriter, foghorn, an assortment of milk bottles, pistol, and so on), which had been added by Cocteau (somewhat to the dismay of Satie). It is supposedthat such additions by Cocteau showed his eagerness to create a succès de scandale, comparable to that of Igor Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps which had been premiered by the Ballets Russes some years before, and caused no less scandal.Although Parade was quite revolutionary, bringing common street entertainments to the elite, being scorned by audiences and being praised by critics, nonetheless many years later Stravinsky could still pride himself in never having been topped in the matter of succès de scandale. The ragtime contained in Parade would later be adapted for piano solo and attained considerable success as a separate piano piece. The finale is a rapid ragtime dance in which the whole cast [makes] a last desperate attempt to lure the audience in to see their showI have omitted the  percussion in my arrangement of the finale. The premiere of the ballet resulted in a number of scandals. One faction of the audience booed, hissed, and was very unruly, nearly causing a riot before they were drowned out by enthusiastic applause. Many of their objections were focused on Picasso's cubist design, which was met with cries of sale boche.Arranged wind dectet/bass (double wind quintet).

Small Ensemble Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - SKU: A0.978194 Composed by Jason A. Heald. Contemporary. Score. 16 pages. Call of the Wild Publishing #6265333. Published by Call of the Wild Publishing (A0.978194). THREE LABE SONNETS for mezzo-soprano and piano is a collection of settings by Louise Labé, (1520-1566), a female French Renaissance poet. Labé was fluent in Latin and Italian, and a trained musician. She wrote twenty-four sonnets. TRANSLATION Sonnet VIII - I Live, I Die I live, I die, I burn with fire, I drown. It matters very little what I feel; All life is now too real, now too surreal; Joy comes and endless boredom weighs me down, And suddenly I laugh and then I cry; With grief and bliss I’m weeping for the past; Good feelings go away and yet they last, And suddenly I bleed and then I sigh. That’s how it goes. Strange, ever changing love Has worn me out. I wish I were removed From such a star-crossed fate! I need a truce With Lady Luck. Again and yet again, Her wheel is spinning madly to produce This wanton, wild, intense, exquisite pain. Sonnet XVIII - O Kiss Me O kiss me, kiss me, re-kiss me, and kiss! Be reckless, impudent, hot-headed, bold! O woo me! Pursue me! Kiss me like this: And I’ll give back fifty as hot as red coals. There, is it hurting? Come, let’s soothe the pain. I’ll give you sixty others just like these. And so we’ll kiss again and then again, While we enjoy each other at our ease. I know there’s fire within your unshaped clay, And so, allow me, love, to share my happiness: O let’s make burning passion rule today. I’m fond of doing what I love to do, Yet cannot feel supreme delight unless I have my other wild encounters, too. Sonnet XIV - As Long As Tears As long as tears can well up in my eyes I’m saddened that our nights are marked by pain. And now my voice expresses once again A plaintive melody I’ve improvised. As long as I can pluck the lute, I try To sing about your charms in my refrain. As long as I can think, my fevered brain Is burning with an ardent zeal. I cry And cry a hundred thousand times for you. But when I feel my whirling thoughts grow still, And when both hand and voice won’t work their will, Because your treachery is piercing through My heart, I’ll know there’s just one final way. I’ll ask for Death to darken that bleak day.

Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596601). Los ñoquis del veintinueve – The Gnocchi of the Twenty-Ninth – by Juan MarÃa Solare Audio: https://soundcloud.com/mihovilcevic/juan-maria-solare-los-noquis/s-bOICUjXTDyS Comments The order of these 29 numbers is rigorously random, as is the election of the six sizes of the fonts (12, 16, 20, 24, 28 and 32 picas). In order to determinate both dimensions I used the program I-Ching by Andrew Culver (assistant to John Cage in the '80 and '90), a program that is distributed as shareware in internet (thanks). The colour version follows the following criterion: - (a) prime numbers (see green) - (b) multiples of 3 (red) - (c) all other numbers (blue) ...if it ends up being good music then what matter the procedure involved? (David Cope, New Music Composition, p. 117) About the expression los ñoquis del 29: The Italian word gnocchi (gnocchi is plural of gnocco, which meaning is lump) is used in Spanish often as ñoqui or ñoquis. In the RÃo de la Plata (Argentina and Uruguay) are traditionally eaten on the 29th of each month, the day before payday, when people has less money. This tradition is called los ñoquis del 29 - the gnocchi of the twenty-ninth. There are naturally other versions. The most picturesque comes from a legend of the VIIIth century (or even IIIrd century). A young physician called Pantaleon (Panteleimon) lived in Nicosia (Cyprus), who after converting to Christianity, journeyed through the North of Italy. There he practiced miraculous healings due to which he was canonized. In a certain occasion, he asked some Venetian villagers for bread, and they invited him to share their poor table. Grateful, he announced them a year of excellent fishing and harvest. The prophecy was fulfilled. Saint Pantaleon was consecrated –along with Saint Mark– patron of Venice. That episode occurred on a 29th, for this reason that day is recalled with a simple food represented by gnocchi. The accompanying ritual of putting money below the dish represents the yearning of new gift. Outside the culinary realm, certain Argentine and Uruguayan functionaries are dismissively called ñoquis, because they only go to work at the end of the month, to justify their salary or simply to cash in for a not fulfilled work. This meaning was spread since the 1970's. Premiere: Luis Mihovilcevic, Saturday 25 October 2008, Centro Cultural Islas Malvinas, La Plata (Argentina). * JMS * DonSolare@gmail.com *https://soundcloud.com/mihovilcevic/juan-maria-solare-los-noquis/s-bOICUjXTDyS

String Ensemble Cello - Level 5 - SKU: A0.526260 By Glee Cast (Mashup With 782170). By Desmond Child, Jon Bon Jovi, and Richie Sambora. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Pop,Rock,Wedding. 22 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #6248797. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526260). *INSTRUMENTATION: FOUR CELLOS*Livin' On A Prayer is one of the most iconic rock songs of the 80's and it is still beloved by millions to this day - and people just can't help singing along! With as much energy and hair-metal passion as the original, this arrangement is a ton of fun to play and to listen to. An equal-opportunity chart, this arrangement for cello quartet divides the melodies and solos among all four players so everyone gets a chance to shine. Rated advanced for some upper thumb position and a few tricky rhythms - it's pretty much sightreadable for adult professionals, but for everyone else I recommend to work on it before performing. Why choose Cellobat Charts arrangements? For any musician who knows what they're doing, the answer is easy: just listen to them. Every freelance musician has thrown hard-earned money away on questionable, error-filled charts by unknown arrangers from weird corners of the Internet. But watch out -- inferior arrangements not only make gigs less enjoyable to play, but they also make your group sound bad to your client and audience, no matter how great your players really are. That's why Cellobat Charts is here: to provide students and working string players alike with high-quality versions of highly requested music. My arrangements are guaranteed to be energetic, fun to play, and enjoyable to listen to, whether or not you're familiar with the original songs. Hear the difference for yourself! Full videos of many Cellobat Charts arrangements are available on YouTube so you know exactly what you're getting. Click Watch near the item details at the top of the page for full video of Livin' On A Prayer. Crowd pleasing guaranteed. Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Originally released by an English singer named Jenny Darren, Benatar's cover proved to be her breakthrough song; it topped the Billboard charts for nearly 5 weeks and was ultimately named one of VH1's 100 best hard rock songs of all time. It has since been featured in video games, movies, TV shows, movies, and has generally become a staple of pop culture -- and now you can rock out on it with your cello buddies! This Cellobat arrangement for cello quartet is just as hard-hitting as the original, with epic vocal lines, powerful harmonies, a driving rock beat, and even a fun guitar solo. Medium Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1328293 Composed by Richard Strauss. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. 19th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. 3 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #916286. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1328293). The first of its kind, and the first entry in the Accessible Accompaniments library’s collection of small-hand-optimized song literature publications, this is Richard Strauss’s beloved “Zueignung,†from Acht Gedichte, op. 10 (1885), optimized (but not simplified) for the needs of collaborative pianists with small hands. “Small†is generally understood to be just an octave in span, with limited capacity to grab chord tones within a blocked octave aside from the occasional inner fifth. This edition was inspired by Boosey’s excellent small-hand edition of Frank Bridge’s “Love Went A-Riding†(erroneously labeled “simplified†on the front matter), which thins the large chords that would be problematic or impossible for a barely-an-8ve-reach collaborative pianist to play without adding musically inappropriate rolls or breaks, but also preserves the musical content and grammatically accurate voice-leading. Given that Strauss’s op. 10 collection is much more widespread on today’s concert programs than the Bridge, and given that average conservatory pianist heights and hand sizes have dropped significantly in the 20th and 21st centuries, the need for a similar adaptation in at least some of the op. 10 songs is obvious. Additionally, Strauss’s songs are often so orchestral in spirit—much more so than the Bridge—that the instinct to treat them as orchestral reductions to be adapted by each individual player should be as self-evident and considered as musically appropriate as it would be for any of Strauss’s beloved horn concerti. Performers should feel free to insert their own adaptations, additions, and omissions to this score as needed. The primary source material for this edition is Henle’s edition of the Acht Gedichte. However, any proprietary material that is not public domain (like their fingerings, front matter, and critical notes) is left out of this edition, leaving only what is public domain and edited by Ms. DiPaolo. Unreasonably large chords and arpeggio figures that would require being reachable by a larger hand have been condensed into figures more appropriate for the just-an-octave hand without sacrificing technique and excitement. This edition makes minor improvements to the engraving, like removing syllabic beaming in the voice and adding octave lines when appropriate. This edition also uses Accessible Accompaniments’ distinctive house style, marked by its visual beauty and ease of reading. While this song will be published in low, middle, and high keys for your convenience, please feel free to request another transposition if you are purchasing from a site that does not offer automatic transposition or you don’t see the key that you need. As the name says, Accessible Accompaniments is committed to accessibility—and that goes for singers, too!

Guitar - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1495795 Composed by Jacob Collier. Arranged by Justin Roth. This edition: audio, pdf, streaming. Contemporary, Folk, Pop, Singer/Songwriter. Guitar Tab. 9 pages. Rothirric Music #1072324. Published by Rothirric Music (A0.1495795). This guitar transcription is based on the MAHOGANY SESSIONS version, released on March 21, 2024. Summer Rain was written by Jacob Collier and features Madison Cunningham on vocals and Chris Thile on mandolin. It is on Jacob’s Djesse vol. 4 album, released on February 29, 2024. Following two sold-out trio shows in London in September 2023, this is where Jacob, Madison and Chris got together to record Summer Rain as a trio for the first time.Despite the harmonic complexity of parts of the song, learn the easy and repeatable chord shapes that Jacob actually uses to make this song easier to play that you think. This transcription is intended as a chordal and rhythmic guide to the song, making it more accessible, no matter what your level of playing is. Since it is based on a live performance, and because Jacob doesn't play anything exactly the same way twice, this is not a note-for-note fingerstyle arrangement, but includes tablature for repeated fingerpicking patterns used. This frees you up to adapt it to your level of playing, whether you're a strummer or fingerpicker.
