JohannChristoph Pezel was a German violinist, trumpeter, and composer. He used thesetalents by the age of 30 to begin a prolific career as a composer, primarily ofinstrumental music. Many of his works are still exciting and fun to play eventoday. His influence helped create the instrumental styles used in orchestrastoday. He sadly died too young at age 55. This quintetarrangement of Bal makes a nice pleasant work that shows off any brass quintet.
