This is possibly my most prized arrangement for solo classical guitar of all. This is the entire piece as Gounod composed it, minus the very beginning intro, but including the portion of the intro where the 6/8 count begins. Although advanced, the fingerings, barre markings and string designations are all shown in each of the complicated areas and worked out very smartly for the smoothest transitioning, possible.

?Mattonya? is a soloacoustic finger-style guitar composition. Like ?Krisomas?, ?Mattonya? was composed for Mattand Tonya?s wedding, hence the name. ?Mattonya? is from my release ?BeyondWords? and included in my newest compilation. ?Together As One? which is songsI composed for weddings as ?Mattonya? created this theme. ?Mattonya? opens with no intro, gets right to the theme. The theme is in 4/4 and switches elegantly to 6/8, a delightful change. ?Mattonya? could be a welcome part of your show and is appropriate for schools, students, and church services for special events or concerts. "Mattonya" is an easy flowing piece which needs compassion. The 6/8 section does need to be steady and aggressive. Practice this section with a metronome starting out about 90 BPM's or what's comfortable. Then build up to 125 BPM's, the original tempo. It's important to adhere to the fingering, it works really well. Standard tuning. I've had a lot of success with "Mattonya" and I'm confident you will too! Enjoy and please share your comments. This is a solo, classical guitar tremolo arrangement of The Godfather Love Theme. This version includes guitar tablature along with fingerings, barre markings and string designations in the notation staff. The particular version of the Godfather theme that this arrangement was taken from was actually entitled "Appollonia" in the original Godfather soundtrack. It is the version of the theme that occurs while Michael is consummating his marriage in Sicily and is presented with classical guitar accompaniment and a mandolin playing the melody. It is the only version the The Godfather Theme that is in 6/8 time, making it perfect for a solo, classical guitar tremolo arrangement.

Venetianisches Gondellied (Venetian Gondola Song), Opus 30, No. 6 from Songs Without Words, one of five gondola pieces that Felix Mendelssohn wrote throughout his career, depicts in music his fascination with Venice and its centuries-old means of transportation. This arrangement for guitar in E minor includes a 3-page score with guitar tablature, plus 2-page guitar part without tab.
