Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841181 By James Taylor. By James Taylor. Arranged by John Murphy C.S.M.V. Rock. Guitar Tab. 4 pages. John Murphy #5793043. Published by John Murphy (A0.841181). You can close your eyes James TaylorLearn this classic James Taylor song and master his characteristic finger picking guitar technique. You will learn: 4/4 Fingerpicking rhythm patterns that you can use in many other songs and other genres.Popular and widely used great guitar chord inversions (also sometimes called slash chords, e.g. G/B )to create interesting bass lines that complement the melody of the tune and give direction and forward momentum to the song’s chord progression. Bass driven chord progressions are a characteristic feature of accomplished guitarists like James Taylor and Chet Atkins.‘Clawhammer’ technique or ‘Travis picking’ are the names often given to a style of playing four bass notes to the bar (usually alternating from root to fifth of the chord played with the R.H.thumb). If you listen to the great country guitarist Chet Atkins you will hear this ‘clawhammer’ style in most of his guitar arrangements.Useful hammer-ons/pull-offs and passing notes that will improve your technique and add a professional touch to enhance your guitar performances. See bar for 8 hammer on the A sus chord and also on the B minor in bar 32. Note the pull off on G chord in bar 11.Intro and outro sections are included in this James Taylor guitar arrangement of ‘You can close your eyes’Most songs have intros and outros so that the singer can get the tempo and start in the right key. However, many published arrangements often just start on a pick-up note or two on the last beat of the bar with no chord indicated and end the song on a chord that is not the tonic or main key chord that tells the listener the song has ended. ‘Leaving On A Jet Plane’ by John Denver is a good example. In the key of ‘D’ the song starts with the notes ‘C#’ and ‘E’ and then the first bar is indicated as ‘D’ major chord. If you start the song playing a ‘D’ chord you will most likely sing the wrong notes because ‘C#’ and ‘E’ belong to the A7 chord of the song. So a simple 2 bar intro of ‘D’ , A7 (start singing on the last beat) and back to ‘D’ would help the singer to get the tempo and sing the correct pick-up notes. The printed sheet music of ‘Leaving On A Jet Plane’ ends on an ‘A7’ chord of the chorus and as such does not indicate that the end chord should be ‘D’. So it is not always safe to assume that the end chord in printed music indicates the key of the song. Lyrics with chord symbols to show when to change chords. Matching the fingerpicking tab or sheet music to the lyrics can sometimes prove difficult so I have included a lyrics sheet of ‘You can close your eyes’ with chord symbols. This is a very popular format to give an indication when to change chords. However, the drawback is that there is no way of knowing how long each chord lasts as the bar structure is missing. But once you learn the bar structure from the sheet music or tab part you will find this Lyrics and chords sheet of ‘You can close your eyes’ your go to page for performing the song until you know it from memory.Downloads available Include:Score Tab Chords Lyrics For GuitarNotes Chords Lyrics For GuitarTab Chords Lyrics For GuitarIf you like or buy this arrangement it helps if you leave even a brief review- two words( very good) or even better one word (Awesome) :)Contact me at info@guitarlessonsdundrum.com

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1018012 By Bob Dylan. By Bob Dylan. Arranged by Servaas Verbergt. Pop. Guitar Tab. 4 pages. Servaas Verbergt #6498585. Published by Servaas Verbergt (A0.1018012). This beautiful Dylan song has it all: heartbreaking lyrics, moving harmonies and a beautiful melody. Because it would be a pity for guitarists not to be able to play Adele's piano version I decided to make a transcription. The score only has the guitar part but you won't have a hard time singing the lyrics on top. Or even better: ask a singer to sing the melody. I can ensure you that the audience will leave in tears. Everything on the score is as in Adeles version except for a small guitar solo I added instead of Adeles piano solo. Don't hesitate to do your own thing in this passage, it is only there as a suggestion. I have put double bar-lines at every section and added chord symbols at the first A and the first B. This way it will be easier for you to grasp the structure of the song. Enjoy!

Easy Guitar (with TAB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1175935 Composed by Phil Garrod, Reed Hays, and Scott Schreer. Arranged by Brian Streckfus. Film/TV,Rock. Tablature. 1 pages. Brian Streckfus #776060. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1175935). Key: D minorTuning: Drop D TuningPages: 1This arrangement has a heavy metal vibe to it because of the key, tuning, dissonance and making it idiomatic for guitar.Tips:1. Perhaps the constantly occuring D bass notes could be called a pedal. This term originates from organs that have pedals for low pitches. So the A7/D is bizarre, but it isn't so strange that a classical composer wouldn't use it. Bach does this often. 2. Use the chord charts to aid in improvising more repeats. Since this is meant for a commercial, it is breif. 3. Be careful not to accidently bump into the second thinnest string on guitar: a B. The key of d minor has a Bb, so in this case, that string is a hot lava string.4. The final ending would be called a Perfect Authentic Cadence. This is because for the final chord, the soprano and bass are the home note (D), a.k.a. tonic. 5. Guitar position text explains where your index finger should be, NOT what fret is about to come next.6. The A+11 chord can be easier to understand by calling it a Cadential 6/4 chord. This is a classical music cliche and composition trick. The trick is that a home chord (tonic) with the 5th note in the key in the bass, actually sounds more like an away chord (dominant) with a lot of suspended notes on it. To be even vaguer; it's a common strategy to add a lot of dissonance to the last chord in the chord progression.

Guitar - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1030970 Composed by M. Bouin & Jane Taylor / Franz Gruber & Josef Mohr. Arranged by Michael John Bates. Christian,Christmas,Jazz,Sacred. Guitar Tab. 7 pages. Michael John Bates #2893163. Published by Michael John Bates (A0.1030970). For solo finger-style guitar. Though it has a slight jazzy flare to it, it is still appropriate for church worship services. The guitar part does include barre chords and dead-string chords, and there are time signature modulations. This arrangement has been created for intermediate to advanced guitarists whether you read music or not. Intermediate players will find this arrangement much easier to learn than even less complicated song arrangements because of the extensive use of chord charts for changes in the left hand, a section of explanations and tips from the arranger, and lyrics included to help you know where you are at all times. The software-generated audio is 2:43, but the software doesn't do legato very well, nor fermatas, and it doesn't play with much feeling, so please listen only for a general idea of how it goes and use your imagination to hear how great this will sound live!

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1177383 By Frederic Chopin. By FreÌdeÌric Chopin. Arranged by Brian Streckfus. 19th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Instructional,Romantic Period. Guitar Tab. 6 pages. Brian Streckfus #776814. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1177383). Key: Changed from B minor to A minorCapo: 2 (If you want original key, but I wasn't a fan of capo 2; it felt like there was no bass notes.)1. Arranged for guitar. 2. Piano pedal markings removed 3. Phrase markings removed and opted for commas. 4. Re-harmonized 5. Key changed from B minor to A minor. 6. Slurs 7. Left hand fingers 8. Tablature9. Harmonics added when advantageous, but playing the regular note would work as well.10. Piano pedal markings removed and replaced with commas. It's a flaw of sheet music that slurs, ties, and phrase markings are all the same symbol, and having all three happening can clutter a score.Compromises This may sound obvious, but of course I had to make some alterations to make this flow properly on guitar. Many of the original chord inversions on the piano were not kept. However, many harmonies were kept intact as far as following the chord nomenclature name. Measure 50 was originally an A minor chord, the irony is that the F major suprise is an homage to Chopin anyways, suprised he didn't opt for it. To be honest, I don't like how there is a perfect authentic cadence in measure 50. I think modern audiences would want to clap too badly, so I believe that ending needs to be slightly messed up to propel the music forward, and give a sense that there is still a problem. The other chord that was changed was an E7b9 to a Ddim7 in measure 78. If you know your theory well, you'll realize these chords have the same exact function and nearly the same notes, it's just that Ddim7 flowed a bit better on guitar. I'd rather have guitarists play the rhythms correctly and with musicality, than have guitarist clunkily go though overly large chords in order to mantain historical accuracy. Measure 15 was hard to keep the original chord intact. A Bb/D with a G in the melody as a suspension sounds more like a g minor chord. That is cliche Chopinesque neopolitan moment so the Bb is crucial to mantain. Having some rough sort of Bbmaj7 or G minor chord while mantaining the melody seemed to sound the best even though the name of the chord might have gotten a little off. I tried chord charts, but they seemed messier than what it was worth. I also could have the denser tablature in the sheet music, but that does make it look 10x more intimidating. So this version is unique in that the tablature is my denser arrangement, whereas the sheet music would allow someone to quickly make a new arrangement. I like this ethos because most guitarists are likely to be much better at playing chord quickly when they don't have to have an exact voicing. This makes this arrangement easier to further perfect since I am naming the harmonies, which often isn't done in classical music.BackstoryThis is one of my favorite pieces, and also my favorite composer. I feel classical guitar repertoire is lacking easily playable music in the romantic style. Often, if it is romantic guitar music, it is extemely difficult and therefore only a select few can enjoy performing it. Also, I sometimes get my hopes up to find a romantic guitar composer, but then after listening, there's nothing quite like Chopin. Obviously, you will have to have some chops to play this since it's one of the most ambitious undertakings a guitarist could take, but it's also not so hard that you have to be train for a decade because I changed the key.

Pages: 5 (84 chords to name)Objective:Instead of learning chords one by one, you instead learn how to build chords yourself. Also, this mindset helps in composing, because instead of seeing things as wrong chord versus correct chord, you simply see it as every harmony as a name. Like many things in life, theoritcal concepts can allow you to formulate thousands of outcomes in a single day. Tips:1. You start counting from 0 for this exercise if that makes any sense. Avoid the common fence post error by overcounting by 1. Other times you start counting from 1 in music is when talking about scale degrees. What is the distance from C to E? C(0) C#(1) D(2) D#(3) E(4).2. Use the chromatic scale at the top to help in counting.3. E# = F...Fb = E...B# = C...Cb = B...In otherwords, don't let strange enharmonics confuse you. Picture the black key sometimes missing between white keys on a piano in your mind if it helps. 4. Even though enharmonics like E# can seem confusing, they can actually add clarity sometimes because they cause the chord to stack perfectly in the sheet music and letter names. A# C# E#...versus...A# C# F...Sure, F is easier to understand in a part, but it actually makes the harmony harder to understand because not it looks like it isn't 3rds, even though it is.5. I included tab just to make this worksheet a little bit more interesting; however, the guitar chords that result are NOT practical. Voicings of common guitar chords are much more spread out, and often contain more duplicate letter names. Practical guitar chords is sort of a different conversation. I sort of did this intentionally to prove that perfectly stacked voicings do not work well on guitar. C E G Bb perfectly in order in harmony, sounds like it would be easy on guitar, but it is not.6. To make this more practical on guitar, I recommend building the chords yourself by simply knowing letter names well on guitar. The next time something asks for G major, don't just play a common voicing, actually find G B D randomly on the guitar neck. 7. Often the fifth of a chord is removed since it is the least important to invoking the flavor of the chord. This is especially true on guitar because we quickly run out of fingers and strings.8. The nature of the piano lends pianists to constantly seeing these distances on a linear plane. Conversely, guitar is a very murky instrument since the real distances of pitches is counterintuitive to arbitrary (usually) fret numbers! That is why many guitarists would benefit from thinking this way, instead of thinking of chords simply as shapes (which is also important for different reasons). In other words, try to build a chord on one string on guitar. It is impractical, but the half step distances required for chords will make much more sense. To Do:1. Slight differences in how the sheet look need to be made similiar.2. Remove green line.

Dynamics added 5. Fingerings Added 6. Slides/Guide fingers added 7. Modern Fonts Tips: 1. Realizing that you are in position two most of the time helps. In the key of B minor, fret 1s aren't supposed to happen as they would be out of key. This piece does have key changes, so some fret 1s do happen.2. Nearly all measures are arpeggios, so it's best to summarize each measure as a chord shape. If you read the music one note at a time, your playing will most likely sound choppy. It is possible to get the entire measure ready on beat one.3. Similiar to the last point, there are a lot of bars in this piece. Realizing when you are barring and not barring will be helpful.4. I try to strategically leave out fingerings. Too many fingerings and the piece look overly intimidating. Often, if I leave out a fingering, it's because it is a counter-intuitive fingering to use, and therefor the student should pencil it in themselves as a strong reminder of a difficult moment. I also leave out fingerings if I strongly sense there are multiple correct ways of playing a passage.

Guitar - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1156458 Composed by Erik Satie. Arranged by Brian Streckfus. 20th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Guitar Tab. 7 pages. Brian Streckfus #756776. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1156458). IMPORTANT NOTE: You get both tablature version and sheet music version in one 7 page PDF! Hopefully this makes these arrangements all-inclusive for different purposes and skill levels. Also the tab version is meant for Drop D tuning and the sheet music is for standard tuning! Just be careful with your printer settings if you don't want two versions!1. Impressionism French minimalist piece arranged for guitar in Drop D Tuning.2. The composer indications in text are not my recommendations, but the original composer's. 2. Guitar tablature added with circles for half notes and whole notes.3. Measures and time signatures removed to reflect the ethos of the original composer. 4. Engraved to fit on four pages. Many of the lines themselves represent a musical phrase, making my arrangement that much easier to perform musically.  5. Courtesy accidentals added but they just look like regular accidentals. I did this especially because the piece is one gigantic measure and accidental etiquette is hard to follow under those circumstances. 6. Some overly contrived ties removed. This one is a real challenge to engrave because the original composer didn't have bar lines or time signatures. Cool idea but that can cause even the best sheet music programs to glitch out a bit when you have 16/4 hidden time signatures! This especially causes problems with accidentals, and it also causes rhythm problems when multiple voices are happening. As always, I like to try to have notes with upward stems represent the main voice, and downward stems to represent background voices, even though this leads to a bit of messiness with stem collisions. Normally the sheet music shows the rhythm the best, but dare I say the tab actually keeps track of time pretty well since all the voices are condensed into one rhythm line.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1401766 Composed by Jacob Collier. Arranged by Justin Roth. Contemporary,Folk,Pop,Singer/Songwriter. Guitar Tab. 10 pages. Rothirric Music #984951. Published by Rothirric Music (A0.1401766). Summer Rain was written by Jacob Collier and features Madison Cunningham on vocals and Chris Thile on mandolin. It is on Jacobâ??s Djesse vol. 4 album, released on February 29, 2024. This transcription was originally based on two back-to-back live performances at Union Chapel in London on Aug. 31, 2023, and was completed before the album version was released. The videos were not an official release, but the performances were the first time the three of them had ever performed it as a trio in front of an audience. There were slight discrepancies between the two performances, but I chose what was most consistent with the resulting pattern and progression of the album version.Despite the harmonic complexity of parts of the song, learn the easy and repeatable chord shapes that Jacob actually uses to make this song easier to play that you think. This transcription is intended as a chordal and rhythmic guide to the song, making it more accessible, no matter what your level of playing is. Since it is based on a live performance, and because Jacob doesn't play anything exactly the same way twice, this is not a note-for-note fingerstyle arrangement. This frees you up to adapt it to your level of playing, whether you're a strummer or fingerpicker. As a professional fingerstyle guitarist himself, arranger and transcriber, Justin Roth, has been teaching and transcribing Jacob Collier's guitar arrangements with precision and attention to detail unlike no other to date. Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1396458 By The Candlelight Guitarist. By Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Brad Powell. Baroque,Blues,Classical,Instructional,Jazz. Guitar Tab. 4 pages. Geofonica Artistworks #979795. Published by Geofonica Artistworks (A0.1396458). Bach's classic Bourrée in E minor arranged for guitar in a jazz-swing-blues style, with walking bass lines on guitar, melody figures swung, and harmonic passages adapted towards a cool jazz and bluey idiom. It's actually a bit more difficult than the original--because the swung melody and bass lines are syncopated rather than matched... but it is very cool and fun to play, and a great showpiece for an intermediate level guitarist! A fun surprise addition to a recital! Listen to the performance by Brad in the link provided! Incidentally... Brad studied from and was mentored by jazz guitar giant Joe Pass, and took a master class from Andrés Segovia, so this arrangement bridges both musical worlds--jazz and classical--that he came up in.ABOUT: Brad Powell (aka The Candlelight Guitarist) began guitar at age ten, inspired by The Beatles. At 15, he became a protégé of jazz guitarist Joe Pass, and later studied classical guitar under Vincent Macaluso, and at California State University, Northridge under Ronald Purcell, with a master class under Andrés Segovia. Brad was featured performing Gerald Wilson's Sonata for Guitar and Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, with the composer conducting. Brad was mentored in composition by David Rose (composer for Little House on the Prairie). Brad has composed music for TV, including Hill Street Blues and The 'A' Team, working with Mike Post. Brad has ten albums as The Candlelight Guitarist. When not making music, Brad is often out hiking with his four dogs. Brad also played as the solo guitarist for Disney's Princess Breakfast Adventure at Disney's Grand Californian Resort by Disneyland (March 2019-January 2024), providing music for the Disney Princesses (Belle, Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Mulan, Aurora, Ariel, Pocahontas, Cinderella, and their friends and guests).COMMENTS FROM LONG-ESTABLISHED REVIEWERS (for this and other Candlelight Guitarist recordings)...Bill Binkelman - Music Reviewer for Zone Music Reporter and New Age RetailerThe Candleight Guitarist is your tour guide to a land of easy-going, warm, and inviting instrumentals.Rebecca of Amazon - Amazon.com HALL OF FAME TOP 500 REVIEWERBradley Powell's flawless playing allows you to completely relax into sleep or relax into an evening of candlelight and romance. Easy Guitar (with TAB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1163698 Composed by Brian Streckfus. Classical,Contemporary,Instructional,Romantic Period. Tablature. 1 pages. Brian Streckfus #764039. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1163698). It is rare to find something that tests someones dynamics knowledge while relating to guitar, so I composed such a piece. Its genre is modern, classical and romantic. It personally reminds me of Chopin in harmonic language. Tips:1. I believe the volume indicated reflects the chord quality quite well. For example, a Gmaj7 or augmented chord sounds bad loud because they are sleepy and dreamy chords.2. The Ab/C chord in measure 15 is a Neopolitan chord in the key of G major. 3. This piece takes advantage of a key well suited for guitar: E minor. 4. This piece is a good example of a composing technique where you keep notes the same between chords, having little concern for how complex of a chord name that results.5. Rolling the chords is okay and often sounds quite good.

In 1999-2000 I recorded 10 instrumental acoustic guitar pieces I like to call Invitations (in part because they are somewhat technical like a Bach invention, but simpler and in a modern style; and because they are meant to sound pleasant enough to invite the listener in!) This one, #5, was based on a simple melodic-chordal idea I got in the shower. I remember rushing to my guitar while still wet and naked, trying to play what I was hearing in my head. It didn't take long because this is probably the simplest of the 10 pieces. I used a Yamaha LL35 steel-string acoustic that I've owned since the early '90s, playing it finger-style with classical technique. I hope you enjoy it!

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1136061 Composed by Brian Streckfus. Instructional,Jewish,Multicultural,Religious,Sacred,World. Guitar Tab. 1 pages. Brian Streckfus #736086. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1136061). If someone is yawning saying, I'm sick and tired of playing music in the key of C Major, I want to use a scale hardly anyone uses. Then this piece is for you.1. Guitar Arrangement2. Guitar Tab3. Less stereotypical chords 4. Fingerings and letter names added to aid in sight-reading 5. Voice leading considerationsThe Scale I used is: D Eb F# G A Bb D. The name of it would be something bizarre. These names include: Jewish, harmonic major, or a mode of G harmonic minor. If I included a C#, it would be a symmetrical scale that can't be retrograded, adding to the mathematical mystique. An exotic sounding atmosphere was what I was going for.Tips:1. Since it is exotic, microtonal pre-bends seem appropriate to make it even more exotic sounding. That is what the upwards pointing swoosh means. Perhaps the sound of a sitar was what I was going for.2. Slides also make it sound more exotic.3. Exotic music uses drone tones more often than American music. Therefor, droning a low D made sense.4. The naming of chords would be quite difficult since it is more of an alien music language than a western one. I just left them out this time. Names would happen such as Dadd4(b9)omit3. Pretty alien chords if you ask me, and you can see that the western chord nomenclature is struggling to name it elegantly. Anytime chords are build in 4th and 5ths rather than 3rds, usually the name that results is quite complex.5. I added unisons because it makes it sound more mysterious in my opinion.

I called it Blues No. 17 because Blues No. 1 sounds boring and my birthday is on the 17th of December :-) We'd be so happy if you purchased our guitar tabs and used it in your guitar lessons! Guitar - Early Intermediate - Digital Download By Simon And Garfunkel. Arranged by Dan Jones (www.danjonesguitarist.com). Score, Solo Part, Tablature. 4 pages. Published by danjonesguitarist.com
TheSound of Silence isPaul Simon’s masterpiece. Released in 1965, Simon had written the track duringthe two previous years. It was well worth the wait.<br> <br> Itis an obvious choice as a piece of repertoire to arrange for the intermediateguitarist, yet I have found that many arrangements include real technicaldifficulties for the learner. This is often because of the choice of key. Ifset in A minor, an F barre chord is encountered. Similarly, in D minor, a Bflat barre chord crops up. After much trial and error, I have created a versionin F sharp minor which is playable for younger and less experienced hands, without, I believe, losing any musical effect.<br> <br> <br> <br> Ihave tried to make this arrangement flexible. Therefore, it is set in 2sections. A grade 1-2 guitarist can play just the first half, twice for acomplete performance. The second half has a thicker texture, with a ‘flatpicking’ technique applied to the thumb. Here, the thumb plays the lower notes onall four beats of the bar.<br> <br> <br> <br> This downloadprovides one version with only notes, and a second in notes and TAB (in this singledownload). I am aware that many teachers dislike TAB, so you are given the choice.<br> <br> Professionalplayers looking for light repertoire – perhaps for restaurant or wedding work –can fill out the parts spontaneously. The chord sequence is obvious to those withmore experience.<br> <br> Personally speaking, I sometimes play the arrangement with a capo at fret 3 or 4 to vary the timbres heard in a concert programme.<br> <br> I hope very muchthat you enjoy playing this version of The Sound of Silence. To see andhear my arrangements for learners, professionals, and ensembles, please visit www.danjonesguitarist.com.I have also written a memoir of working as a guitarist in rural France. Pleasesee www.danjonesauthor.com.<br> <br> I will upload a YouTube video and lesson before the end of February 2021.<br> <br> THANK YOU! DanJones, Perthshire, Scotland, February 2021

Brian Streckfus #868501. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1276814). Key: A minor (harmonic)Pages: 2This is a medium difficulty finger style piece. It reminds me of the difficulty of Fernando Sor or Matteo Carcassi etudes, so it's great to use this to fine tune technical aspects of your playing. 1. Arranged for guitar. 2. Guitar tablature added. 3. Slurs/slides/stacatto added. 4. Fingerings added. 5. Chord nomenclature added. (classical music doesn't normal have these. They tend to never summarize the notes perfectly, but it's clear to me that they aid in playing the music better in many aspects.)6. Position markers added7. Letter names on white note heads addedTips:1. I imagine E would be played louder.2. Generally, minor chords are played quieter.3. The form is ABA.4. The key change is to the parallel major, A Major. This is a romantic key change (basically Beethoven and after).  5. This piece is beautiful and easy to engrave since it symmetrical. 4 measure phrases. 32 measures fits perfectly on two pages. I say this somewhat jokingly, but the time signature is 32/16/8/4/2 (look into hypermeter). I enjoy when pieces of music are 4 measure phrases, because then the staff lines themselves actually represent true musical phrases. The opposite of this is called upbeat phrasing, which is when a phrase starts in the middle of a measure.

New apoyando/picado exercises that I hope it will be interesting to play. Sincerely speaking, I don't like exercises because they are mostly for technique and there is no music. I wanted to create exercises that would be interesting for me, the musical exercises. I am satisfied with this work - now I have more good exercises for myself and I share it with you. Each exercise is made like a cycle. You can practice some important technique elements - left hand transitions that are common in flamenco guitar music, with p/h/glissando. These patterns are also useful as guitar licks for flamenco fusion improvisation. Enjoy!
