Instrumental composed in the middle of the nineties during the preparations for Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. There was a proposal to extend train line from Bondi Junction all the way to Bondi Beach where I lived. I was keen on the idea as I did not like catching the slow, crowded and stinky buses to the city every day. Majority of the locals however did not want it, so the train line was not built. Sometimes, I played this tune at Bondi Beach accompanied by a didgeridoo player named Zani who had didgeridoo in E key. Where Zani is now, I would not have a clue. New apoyando/picado exercises that I hope it will be interesting to play. Sincerely speaking, I don't like exercises because they are mostly for technique and there is no music. I wanted to create exercises that would be interesting for me, the musical exercises. I am satisfied with this work - now I have more good exercises for myself and I share it with you. Each exercise is made like a cycle. You can practice some important technique elements - left hand transitions that are common in flamenco guitar music, with p/h/glissando. These patterns are also useful as guitar licks for flamenco fusion improvisation. Enjoy!

Five simple pieces in DADGAD tuning. Over the years, DADGAD tuning has become an important part of my guitar playing, as well as my arranging and composing. As a teacher, I have also had a number of people contact me about helping them learn to play in this wonderful tuning. These Etudes, or studies, are a response to having music that is easily accessible to beginners to this tuning, without being too difficult. That being said, these Etudes are not for guitar players in the beginning stages of learning. Rather, they are for guitarists wishing to begin exploring DADGAD tuning. Players should have a basic knowledge of fingerpicking and chord playing, as well as knowledge of reading tablature.

Scarborough Fair is a much-lovedtraditional English ballad, the text of which dates back to medieval times. Ithas been recorded many times by contemporary artists, most famously, Simon andGarfunkel.

In making thisarrangement I am attempting to create a work suitable for the more-advanced orconcert player. My intention has been to use the original theme to construct apiece with structure and harmonic depth.

Scarborough Fair iscomposed in the beautiful, ambient Dorian mode. It is firstly presented in ADorian and midway, modulates to D Dorian before returning to the original modewith a coda. By adjusting the sixth degree of the scale the theme is also heardin Aeolian mode.

I am excited at theidea of using well-known themes to create a concert repertoire suitable for allenvironments and which will appeal to guitarists and non-guitarists alike.

I have also triedperforming the piece with a capo placed at the second fret when I have felt myprogramme needed more harmonic variety.

TheFlower Duet was writtenby the French composer L�o Delibes. It is set for two voices (sopranoand mezzo-soprano) and occurs during act one of Delibes? opera Lakm� whichwas premiered in Paris in 1883.

The work is one ofthe best-loved arias of all time. It has become iconic due to its use in TV, film,and advertising. Most recently, it is known as the soundtrack to a BritishAirways commercial.

The aria makes an ideal piece of repertoire foradvanced-intermediate and professional guitarists. It is perfect for thoseplaying gigs, in restaurants, at weddings and as a piece of popular repertoirein a recital.

This is an arrangement for classical guitar in standard tuning. I included percussion effects to enhance the groove and the overall atmosphere of the music. You don�t have to play all the effects but I included a description of how to play them in the appendix. I composed my own solo-part for the guitar in the section where the trumpet plays it�s solo. This well known piece from the movie "Meet Me In St Louis" is beautiful when played on a solo guitar. Its not a demanding arrangement and can be learned quite easily.
