The bass part is notated throughout but the piano part will require some interpretation. For fun's sake there is a shmultz section prior to the reprise of the nasty uptempo theme just before the end. This is scored with 1x clarinet, 1x soprano, 1x alto, 1x tenor, 1x bari, 3 tpts, 3 troms, 1x eupho, 1x tuba and rhythm. There is a traditional full big band version available which has superior editing.

Called Night of the Rooster, this was a cross between the Stray Cat Strut and James Bond, and one can only imagine the rooster's evening in the hen house. Without going into innuendos, the way the T-Town Jazz Band performed it was with all trombone improv solos ending with all four of us playing at once. Whether this was measuring slide lengths or a battle between roosters, you can let your imagination run wild.
