There is optional jingle bells and wind chimes. Feel free to add other sound affects if you want with a large poster board or percussion added for a wind sound. Have fun.

Everyone is in 1st position the whole time, and it would be considered a grade 2 piece. It has a kind of Italian feel to it, and I named it for a certain rose bush that we had growing at my home, and it turned out to be a kind of musical description of the flower. Little did I know that the Multi Flora Rosa is considered an annoying weed by most gardeners. Who knew? The picture of the rose is from my sister’s front yard and is just a rose by another name!

This piece was was premiered by the Malaga Youth Orchestra Promúsica in April 2019.It is a lyrical piece well suited for players in Grade 4 and up, written for string ensemble and perfect for a small string orchestra to include in its repertoire.It is composed in such a way as to give every group of instruments its own highlights. There is a little solo melody for violin 1, as well as for violas, and the cellos also have a chance to contribute to melodic content. The bass too is kept quite busy, and the violin 2 alternate nicely with the first violins. All in all a nice piece for young string players. .
