Technical challenges include 12/8 time signature and hemiolas meaning the main parts are best suited to ABRSM Grade 4+ standard players. The arrangement can be mostly played in first position, reaching briefly to a top G in first violin only. The arrangement also includes an easier part for Violin & Viola suitable for grade 1-2 level. It was printed in the Erfurt Enchiridion of 1524.Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland continues to be used in modern settings. It appears in liturgically oriented Christian hymnals, for example the Lutheran Book of Worship, and as the cantus firmus for organ compositions.The song was the prominent hymn for the first Sunday of Advent for centuries. It was used widely in organ settings by Protestant Baroque composers, most notably Johann Sebastian Bach, who also composed two church cantatas beginning with the hymn. The Untouchables is a 1987 American gangster film directed by Brian De Palma, produced by Art Linson, written by David Mamet, and based on the book of the same name (1957). The film stars Kevin Costner, Charles Martin Smith, Andy Garca, Robert De Niro, and Sean Connery, and follows Eliot Ness (Costner) as he forms the Untouchables team to bring Al Capone (De Niro) to justice during Prohibition. The Grammy Award-winning score was composed by Ennio Morricone and features period music by Duke Ellington.
