The arrangement includes the score and parts around Grade Level 2 1/2. This score provides educational opportunities for young orchestras with specific concepts such as syncopated rhythms, transitioning from pizzacato to arco and back within short rests, bow changes over a long single note, and ensemble bowing decisions. There is no shifting for vln, vla or cello, however, small shifting for bass up to a 'high d' on the G string. This arrangement is a shorter version than the original song and has a cheesy end with the melody plucked across all strings. The tempo is marked up a bit to match the style of the original, but please choose a tempo to best suite your orchestra. Hope you enjoy!Â

Play and Sing Un Poco Loco from Disney's Coco!  This Multi-Level Masterpiece arrangement is scored for mariachi and string orchestral ensembles in a festival arrangement with a variety of levels from first-year players and beyond! Watch and Listen on YouTube! --> https://youtu.be/V1wBfV9cxFYEach purchase of this score/parts allows for 40 musicians to use this sheet music for one calendar year from purchase date.Here is some information to help make this arrangement work best! 1.    All parts in this arrangement can be played simultaneously in a festival-style performance. 2.    The most basic way to play this piece and have it sound like the piece would be to have the violin or viola part (normal or advanced) and a bass instrument (guitarrón, bass, or cello) playing while one or more singers play. 3.    Instruments could play the vocal parts, if necessary. 4.    Adding the foundational, normal, or advanced armonia (guitar, vihuela, or other chordal instruments) would enhance quite a bit. 5.    Adding the normal or advanced trumpet parts would add another layer. Their part doubles the violin/viola parts in most places, but there’s a part near the middle where their part varies to add complexity to the counterpoint. 6.    The foundational violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, and trumpet parts (normal sheet music) are in unison. They are a mixture of melody/harmonic writing and the bass parts. These parts should be played alongside 2 and 3 listed above. (4 and 5 too if you can!) 7.    The Foundational Notes sheets are one note per measure. In this piece, they are the main tonic chord tones. In this piece (but not in all Multi-Level Masterpieces), they also happen to be the basic major chords. These parts should be played alongside 2 and 3 listed above. This arrangement for Young String Orchestra of the traditional Bell Carol is written in the key of D minor. It is all bowed and is intended to move along at a pace of 112 beats per minute and runs about two minutes. All parts have some notes that should be played détaché . The violins have the eighth note runs in the bridge section each time, requiring B naturals and C sharps. Although the carol was composed by Mykola Leontovych in the early 1900's, it is based on a four note ostinato taken from ancient Ukranian folk sources. The piano part is not necessary for performance but can be used to add rhythmic, melodic and harmonic reinforcement.
