This adaptation was intended for a small group of viola and piano, where the original essence of the piece was kept, however, with a reduction in the duration, where only the main themes of the opening were extracted. As it is simplified, it is intended for beginner students of instrumental music who want to enter orchestral music, even in a simplified and reduced form, and can be used by music teachers with their students in ensemble practice in situations such as academic recitals, didactic concerts, or assessment tests.The Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, known as the Symphony of Destiny, by Ludwig van Beethoven, written between 1804 and 1808, is one of the most popular and best known compositions in the entire repertoire of European music. The four movements are characterized by orchestral homogeneity, being, at the same time, an example of alternation: the first movement, revealing great tension, denounced by the strings and raised to an extreme drama; the second movement reveals solemnity, in a funeral march that rises by its emotion and beauty; the third movement, a crispness; the fourth movement expresses triumph and magnificence.

Viola Sonata No.1 “KangKangSullae†For Viola and Piano Sonata No. 1 has the name “KangKangSullaeâ€, and the composer is like any other composer. “What does it mean to be Korean music?†With the question, he is trying to compose such works. A Korean work means a work that contains Korean emotions and spirit, and the melody of “KangKangSullae†has been handed down through a long history to this day, so it can be said that it is a keepsake containing the soul of Korea. With this in mind, the theme of “KangKangSullae†was cited in the 4th movement, and it was named as a representative name for the sonata as an element that forms the basic character of this movement. For reference, the origin of “KangKangSullae†is from women's circular dance. It was because they valued the relationship between each other. They held hands, sang and danced, and it was a representative event to commemorate the full moon and the harvest. The first movement is in 6/8 time, and two contrasting themes, masculine and feminine, appear in normal sonata form. But, in this sonata, two contrasting themes, eastern and western, develop. The second movement crosses the natural harmonics of the violin and the normal playing method in 4/4 time, and expresses oriental excellence and emotion. The third movement is composed in a short ABA form with a humorous lightness and weight in 3/8 time. The fourth movement quoted the theme of “KangKangSullae†in 8/12 time, and was composed in the form of variations that change with various personalities, sometimes solemnly, sometimes sobbing, calmly, etc.

Published by Han-Ki Kim (A0.518944). Viola Sonata Sonata No.2 “Ong Hye Ya†The first movement is in 3/4 time, and in normal sonata form, there are two contrasting themes. In this movement, there is a contrast between the oriental and western characteristics. The first theme is oriental and the second theme is characterized by a Western character. The second movement is in 4/4 time, and it is composed in ABA format in which the theme of a slow nature is exchanged between instruments. The third movement is in 3/8 time, and the lively and humorous theme A and the slow B theme are written in ABA format. The 4th movement is in the form of a variation in which the theme of “Ong Heaâ€, the nickname of the sonata seen in 4/4/time, is cited. An exciting conversation continues. The colorful arpeggio and colorful bariolage are used to heighten the musical atmosphere. This theme originated in Kungsangdo province, south Korea. The meanning of “Ong Hye Ya†is the sound of peoples harvesting barleys. Excited reaction word of on old Korean mostly used in traditional folk songs to uplift the hard work of harvesting. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q17855). The Sonata for Viola and Piano (1984) is not based – as is common in the 'classical' sonata form – on the dualism of two opposing themes. The dialectics are in the juxtaposition of two homogenous movements of contrasting character. The third movement brings, like a development, the analysis of motifs and structures of the first two movements. 'The Sonata ends with the chorale Aus tiefer Not schrei ich zu dir in whose adaptation inner conflict and contrast remain the formative means until the end.' (Pütz) A rewarding contemporary piece for competitions and concerts.
