Piano Accompaniment, Trombone - Intermediate - Digital Download Arranged by Fishel Pustilnik. Lead Sheet, Score, Sheet Music Single. 6 pages. Published by F & N Enterprise
An excellent arrangement of the famous Song "James Bond Theme" (from Motion Picture "Dr. No")<br> <br> <br> for Trombone and Piano-Jazz/Pop Version. The video for Violin and Piano: https://youtu.be/As_pbaoUE-c<br> The composition is easy to read, fun to play, and sound professional when performed. Arranged by Fishel Pustilnik, a very well known as Composer/Publisher. His books "Jazz & Pop Piano Paradise" (Volumes 1-5) have become a commercial success and a hit with music teachers and students in Canada. (Thousands of books already sold in Canada). They are also starting to enter the US, Brazil, Norway, Russia, Holland, Israel, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Latvia, and the UK markets. ”This is a wonderful new publication. These pieces offer much appeal for the young pianist and excellent choice for a supplementary book for students from Grade 3 to 8.” Lore Ruschiensky, Editor, (from the review in “The Canadian Music Teacher”) “Yesterday I spent at least two pleasure-filled hours playing through your imaginatively inventive compositions. Congratulations! I trust students will decide to program your well crafted and entertaining works on recitals and examinations." Review from Dr. Jack Behrens, B.Sc. (Julliard), Ph.D. (Harvard), Director of Academic Studies, The Glenn Gould School "I liked this book the best so far. Great work! You have a gift for melody and your arrangements are very playable. Congratulations on the 3rd Volume”. Mark Carlstein, Hal Leonard, Keyboard Publications.

Piano Accompaniment, Trombone - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). Arranged by Miller, James. Romantic Period. Score, Solo Part. 34 pages. Published by Cherry Classics Music
Brahms’ 21 Hungarian Dances were completed in 1869 and sent to his publisher without opus numbers. Only three of the works are original compositions. The music mostly of one to five minutes in length was Brahm’s biggest seller, originally for solo Piano, but once they were arranged for piano four hands, they exploded in popularity.<br> <br> James Miller has beautifully arranged five of them (1, 5, 7,8 and 9) for Trombone with Piano accompaniment and are appropriate very advanced performers.<br> <br> The sound clips are of Mr. Miller from his solo CD album, Coast to Coast, featured on CD Baby.

Piano,Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.726086 Composed by Traditional French Carol. Arranged by Todd Marchand. Christian,Sacred. Score and part. 8 pages. Con Spirito Music #4775413. Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.726086). Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence is a eucharistic hymn translated from the fifth-century Liturgy of St. James and set to a 17th-century French carol. In this particular liturgy (attributed to St. James the Less, first bishop of Jerusalem), a hymn of preparation and adoration is sung by the celebrating priest as the communion bread and wine is brought to the altar of the Lord. The Anglican priest and hymnodist Gerard Moultrie (1829-1885) translated and paraphrased the hymn, whose opening words are based on the words of the prophets Habakkuk (But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him. 2:20) and Zechariah (Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling. 2:13).Ralph Vaughan Williams, editor of the English Hymnal of 1906, adapted a French carol dating from the 17th century and published in Chansons Populaires des Provinces de France (1860) for Moultrie's text, naming the hymn tune PICARDY for the region of France from which it is thought to originate.Contemporary, jazz-flavored harmonies characterize this arrangement for trombone and piano.©2019 Todd Marchand / ConSpiritoMusic.com

A very popular number for weddings, also effective for meditations and recital encores. Carl Bohm Carl Bohm, sometimes spelled with a K as in Karl Bohm, was born in 1844 and died in 1920. Bohm was a German composer, pianist, and songwriter. He was famous for writing songs with a light and optimistic atmosphere. Some of his most famous songs are Calm as the Night, Twilight, May Bells, Enfant Cheri, and The Fountain. In addition to his songs, he was a very popular composer of string quartets and string trios. His music was very popular and profitable. His publisher used some of the profits from sales of Bohm’s work to prepare the works of Johannes Brahms for publication. Output He certainly was prolific, not only with individual compositions but collections and albums of original music, such as the Bohm Album for the Pianoforte. The quality of his melodies is remarkable. They have a familiar quality similar to folk-songs. It’s no wonder they have become so popular.  His greatest masterpiece may well be the famous Calm as the Night as it is so well finished and refined. This song comes to us from a collection known simply as Lieder Op. 326. Calm as the Night (Still wie die Nacht) is listed as Number 27 in the collection. The song is scored for vocal duet and piano. The lyrics for Bohm’s Still wie die Nacht are anonymous. English: As quiet as the night And deep as the sea, Your love should be! If you love me The same as I love you, I want to be yours. As hot as steel And as firm as a rock, Your love should be!     Â

Piano,Trombone - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.548479 Composed by Mueller. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Christian,Christmas. Score and part. 3 pages. Jmsgu3 #3386541. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.548479). Traditional Christmas song arranged for Trombone & Piano. Third verse features new harmony. Score: 2 pg. Part: 1 pg.Away in a Manger Away in a Manger is a popular Christmas song published originally sometime in the later 19th century and performed throughout the world. In England, it is considered one of the two most popular carols of all time; a 1996 poll ranked it as a tie for second place. To begin with, many thought it was written by Martin Luther, but now the song is considered to be absolutely American. The most common musical arrangements are by William Kirkpatrick (1895) and James R. Murray (1887). The melody was first published, as Luther's Cradle Hymn, by James R. Murray. Then, came a confusing series of explanations about how Martin Luther wrote the song. Murray even went so far as to suggest that Luther wrote it for his children. As a result, the song has become known as simply Mueller. Nobody knows who this Mueller actually is, but the name stuck. Popularity By the 1880’s the cradle song was being performed in church. By the 1990’s the song was becoming the most popular Christmas song of all time. It was sung in school, in church, and at home by nearly everyone. Other musical settings The first musical setting published with the lyrics appeared in the Little Children's Book for Schools and Families (1885). The title was Away in a Manger. This edition is the first one not to attribute the song to Martin Luther. Charles H. Gabriel was the first arranger to present the third verse. He also composed and published a large number of different arrangements of the song. In one of his settings, he supplies a chorus for each verse with asleep sung in canon. Another prevalent preparation uses the lyrics to the melody Flow Gently, Sweet Afton. Yet another arrangement uses the lyrics to an old Normandy carol. Score and part. 14 pages. Jmsgu3 #3525269. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549695). Duration: ca. 1:42, 52 measures, Score: 7 pages, solo part: 2 pages, piano part: 4 pages. A popular Christmas favorite from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Tchaikovsky is probably the most popular of the great composers in America. His music certainly appeals to musicians. Likewise, it appeals even to folks who don’t normally listen to serious music. This is probably because of his most noteworthy melodies. Above all, he writes with great emotion. This certainly makes a most noteworthy if not an unforgettable impact. Education First of all, He attended classes at the Russian Musical Society. Even more, He also attended the St. Petersburg Conservatory. There he studied music theory with Nikolai Zaremba. He also consequently studied composition with Anton Rubenstein. It seems like Rubenstein came under criticism from a group of Russian composers known as the Five. The Five The Five certainly rejected Western musical influences. They rather sought to use elements from Russian music. They furthermore wanted to use more exotic musical materials. Western Techniques More than other Russian composers, Tchaikovsky studied modern Western music. He certainly develops his music like the European masters. So, rather than repeating a motive, he moves to a new key. He then introduces a different theme in the new key. Hence, he maintained his independence from the Five. Even more, he became the first Russian composer of international stature. Influences Tchaikovsky was probably influenced in his ballet scoring by Léo Delibes. Richard Wagner influenced his symphonic writing. Tchaikovsky’s most famous works include the 1812 Overture, The Nutcracker Suite, and Swan Lake. Also famous are the Violin Concerto in D and the six symphonies. The greatest of the six symphonies may be No. 6, the Pathétique. Nutcracker Suite, Op. 71a The Nutcracker Suite is a ballet that was performed for the first time in December 1892 in St. Petersburg. To begin with, the original ballet failed to attract a positive reception. However, the ballet suite became probably one of the most popular of all of Tchaikovsky’s works. The ballet suite became even more famous in the 1960s. It is now performed all over the world, particularly during the Christmas season.

Piano,Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549651 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Concert,Instructional,Romantic Period,Sacred,Standards. Score and part. 16 pages. Jmsgu3 #3516933. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549651). Duration: ca 5:20, Score: 8 pages, solo part: 3 pages, piano part: 4 pages. One of Beethoven's finest and most famous works. Program for a recital, church meditation or school program. Bring your best espressivo and plan to rehearse the many subtle dynamic changes. Sonata Pathétique Op. 13 First of all, this is an arrangement of the second movement of Beethoven’s Sonata Pathétique. It seems like Beethoven wrote this piece before becoming troubled by deafness. Published in 1799, it consequently remains one of the most celebrated pieces Beethoven ever wrote. As a result of its popularity, the movement was therefore performed by Karl Haas. Hass recorded it for a popular radio show called: Adventures in Good Music. Beethoven Background Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 –1827) was certainly a German pianist. Above all, he was probably one of the greatest composers in history. As a result, he is a pivotal character in the progress between the Classical and Romantic periods. He is certainly one of the most famous and hence important of all composers. Seems like his most familiar and noteworthy works include symphonies 1-9; piano concertos 1-5; and furthermore, the violin concerto. Also, certainly of extreme importance are the noteworthy 32 sonatas for the piano; the string quartets 1-16; the Missa solemnis; and likewise, his only opera, Fidelio. Beethoven Overview First of all, Beethoven was born and consequently raised in Bonn. Upon turning 21 he moved to Vienna probably to study composition with Haydn. That’s when he consequently grew a reputation as a brilliant pianist. Furthermore, he probably stayed in Vienna for the rest of his life. In his late 20s, it seems like his hearing certainly began to decline. It slowly declined until consequently, he was nearly totally deaf probably by the last decade of his life. As a result, he stopped conducting and performing. Nevertheless, he continued to compose. As a result, some of his greatest works probably come from this period. First Period Seems like we often divide Beethoven’s life into three periods. Period 1 begins with Beethoven’s arrival in Vienna. Hence, during this period, he mastered the Viennese style of Haydn & Mozart. He consequently began increasing the size and scale of his works. Furthermore, he experimented with extreme dynamics, and likewise extreme tempi. He worked similarly with chromatic harmony. His First and Second Symphonies, therefore, belong to this period. Other important works also belong here: the first six string quartets and the Sonata Pathétique, Op. 13. Second Period His second period probably began as soon as he realized that he was going deaf. During this period, it seems like he became obsessed with the idea of heroism. His works consequently become even larger and more massive. The most noteworthy of these include the symphonies 3 – 8, piano concertos 5& 6, 5 string quartets, several important piano sonatas (Waldstein and Appassionata), the Kreutzer violin sonata, the violin concerto and his only opera: Fidelio. Third Period In contrast, Beethoven's third period is branded above all by works of incredible intellectual depth, formal innovation, and penetrating expression. It seems like he continued to expand his works. Consequently, the string quartet Op. 131 spills over into seven connected movements. Likewise, in the Ninth Symphony, he adds choral forces to his orchestra probably for the first time in history. Even more, other works from this period include his Missa solemnis, the final 5 string quartets (including the enormous Große Fuge) and the final five sonatas for piano. www.jamesguthrie.com.

Piano,Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.587631 Composed by Various. Arranged by David McKeown. Baroque,Concert,Romantic Period,Standards,Wedding. Score and part. 24 pages. David McKeown #4594701. Published by David McKeown (A0.587631). The Wedding Album is a collection of four beautiful and timeless wedding favourites, arranged for Solo Trombone in Bb (Treble Clef) with Piano accompaniment. Whether for that Special Day, for a recital, or for your own entertainment, these arrangements are ideal for players at an intermediate level or higher. The 24-page file includes the piano accompaniments and the separate solo parts at the end. Ave Maria was written by Franz Schubert in 1825 as the sixth song in his song cycle based on Walter Scott’s poem The Lady of the Lake. It is perhaps the best known of all his melodies, adapted for piano by Franz Liszt, and for orchestra many times since. It is often sung with the Latin lyrics of the Catholic hymn of the same name and has been heard everywhere from the Disney movie Fantasia to the funeral of J.F. Kennedy. The Bridal March was written by Richard Wagner in 1850, scored for orchestra and chorus, and opening the third act of his opera, Lohingren. It is best known in the English-speaking world as Here Comes the Bride. Queen Victoria’s daughter used the music for her marriage in 1858, and its popularity has endured ever since. The Prince of Denmark’s March is better known nowadays as the Trumpet Voluntary and is often used in wedding ceremonies. It was in fact written for organ, with the melody played on thetrumpet stop. Written around 1700, for many years this piece was mistakenly attributed to Henry Purcell. Only recently has it been established that the composer was Jeremiah Clarke, organist at St Paul’s Cathedral. It is somewhat ironic that this composer of a wedding mainstay was himself a victim of unrequited love. He consequently shot himself in the cathedral graveyard. Felix Mendelssohn’s Wedding March was originally written in 1842 as incidental music to Shakespeare’s famousplay, Midsummer Night’s Dream. When Queen Victoria’s daughter used the music for her marriage in 1858, it became instantly popular and has remained a wedding favourite ever since. These four arrangements are also available as single titles for $3.99 each. Piano,Trombone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1112427 Composed by Scott Joplin. Arranged by David McKeown. 20th Century,Jazz,Ragtime. Score and part. 8 pages. David McKeown #714461. Published by David McKeown (A0.1112427). The most popular of Scott Joplin’s piano rags during his lifetime, The Maple Leaf Rag was published in 1899. Joplin lived for a while in Sedalia, Missouri and the Maple Leaf Club in that town is thought to have provided the name for this composition. It provided Joplin with a steady income for the rest of his life, and while he requested that it be played at his funeral, his wife refused as she felt it inappropriate. It was the first track on Joshua Rifkin’s famous 1970 revival recording of Joplin’s music and, never waning in popularity, it has featured in hundreds of films. This version for Trombone and Piano includes all four sections of the original composition. The tempo in recorded versions varies widely between 72 and 126, so the marking of 92 is a suggestion only. Musicians at an advanced intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances. The overall performance time is around four minutes. Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with phrasing, syncopated rhythms and light articulation. Click the YouTube link to hear a full performance of the clarinet version of this arrangement. Short but fascinating Chinese Dance from the Nutcracker Suite. Program this for a recital encore or Christmas pageant.
