The name of Oskar Bohme is best known in the brass world for his Sextet. He has a number of other brass works that are of equal quality and serve as great examples of the Romantic era interest in brass performing. This version is adapted for euphonium, F tuba and CC tuba (but mix and match as desired).

Alice Hawthorne was quite a prolific composer in the late 1800s. However, it turns out that "she" was none other than Mr. Septimus Winner, having adopted the female name as one of his many pseudonyms. He was most popular for his ballads published under the pseudonym of Alice Hawthorne. "Whispering Hope", published in 1868, was his last successful composition and is based on Hebrews 6:19?

It has been arranged here for a Flexible Brass Trio: 2 Trumpets, Horn in F (sub for Part 2) and Euphonium BC/TC.

Mozart's 5 Divertimenti K439b, originally written for 3 basset horns, have been arranged for many combinations of instruments. I have arranged this one (No.1) for three euphoniums (or trombones) . I have transcribed the parts into concert pitch F in order to fit all the parts into a comfortable range. I have taken some liberties in the 3rd part, transposing up an octave where necessary, but avoiding any "clash" with the two upper instruments. There is an overlap sometimes where 3rd is playing higher than 2nd, but the harmonies are still fine. I have included both bass and treble clef versions of all 3 parts, as well as a bass clef tuba part as an alternative to the 3rd part. I feel it works well as a low brass trio.
