When there’s a full moon he sprouts fangs, claws and body hair like all the other werewolves, but rather than howling, he scratches the back of his neck with his leg and goes back to sleep with a whimper. His wife was surprised the first time, but she’s used to it now.Walter the Weary Werewolf is suitable for players at an advanced intermediate level and above. The main melody has many accidentals and challenging timing, while the faster middle section features irregular metre. The range is accessible for both players. With a playing-time of just under four minutes, Walter the Weary Werewolf is a perfect spooky addition to any performance program, formal or informal. It starts off pensive and sentimental, to reflect the sorrow of losing a loved one, but then takes on an exuberant feel to celebrate a life well lived. There are two pages - page 2 is in D Minor for classical C flute and other C instruments (to match the recording), while the first page is in E Minor for Irish flute or tinwhistle in D. The overall range is just over 2 octaves: C4 (middle C) to D6 for C flute or D4 to E6 for D flutes. It also plays well on violin.

It was written by George Harrison on a warm spring day whilst walking around Eric Clapton’s garden. The recording of Here Comes the Sun was one of the first British songs to feature a Moog synthesiser. In the digital age, Here Comes the Sun is the most streamed Beatles song by some distance.This version of Here Comes the Sun is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Violin. This arrangement of Here Comes the Sun is ideal for musicians at an intermediate level. There are syncopated rhythms in both parts throughout and the changing time signatures may present a challenge for some. The overall performance time is around three minutes. This version is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Violin.For many traditional Klezmer tunes, the first clues of their existence comes from bands making discs at the dawn of the recording era. In this case, Odessa Bulgar first appeared in a 1919 recording by Abe Schwartz’s Orchestra. Schwartz was born in Romania and emigrated to the USA around 1900, thereafter enjoying a long career in the music industry. Odessa Bulgar is a happy piece designed for dancing at celebrations. Odessa Bulgar is simply arranged in a key and range best suited to the instruments. The melody is in three sections; overall the tune is played twice with a coda and with constant variations in the accompaniment. Odessa Bulgar is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of around two and a half minutes, this version of Odessa Bulgar is perfect for weddings, celebrations and concert performances, both formal and informal.
