It was revived in 1948 by singer Art Mooney whose recording topped the charts for three weeks. Fun fact: Bugs Bunny parodied the song in one of his cartoons, singing: 'I'm looking over a three-leaf clover / that I've over looked bethree.'Claire Summerbell is a London-based clarinetist, educator, composer and arranger. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, two versions were recorded for the film, one by the lead actress Auliʻi Cravalho and the other by Alessia Cara. How Far I’ll Go won a Grammy in 2018 and has been consistently the most streamed song in the Disney canon since its release.Musicians at an intermediate standard will find this ideal for formal and informal concert performances. Total performance time is around three minutes. This is the full length version as sung in the film, with the verse, bridge and chorus performed twice and a final chorus a semitone higher. He titled it Moderato in Bm when it was first published as Op 67 No 5 in a volume of his Songs Without Words. It was often referred to as Heide Lied , a type of pastoral German folk song. Another title derived from that is Song of the Heather. Many current editions give it the title The Shepherd's Complaint. Â This instrumental duet arrangement takes a Romantic piece and sets it in 2 part writing. Even without the chords it is still very rich in sound and Romantic in feel. The metre is always in 3 even when the phrasing looks to be in 2; except for a section near the end where I have strayed from the original Mendelssohn and clearly marked Part II with tenutos to be in 2 against Part I in 3. I have also changed phrasing and articulation for more contrast between the two parts. This arrangement is faithful to the spirit of Mendelssohn yet freshens this beautiful old melody. The notes and rhythms are quite easy to play but I have marked it Early Intermediate because so much could be done with phrasing, articulation, and expression that would make this sound like a much more advanced piece. A great Romantic repertoire piece for students. (2 page score, 1 page Parts)

Published by Grant Horsley (A0.785701). The Nightingale Clarinet duet and Piano is a clarinet duet in Barcarolle tempo and in ternary form. (also flute duet and violin duet are available). Written In Concert E minor, I wanted the gentle tempo in the outer sections to have a medieval minor tone, to work with the contrasting major section in the middle. I very much wanted it to be a clarinet duet rather than clarinet 1 and clarinet 2, so the parts are pretty equally divided. It is romantic in nature, but uses modes and has a few interesting harmonies. It is placed at early intermediate level, about associated board grade 4/5 - dotted quaver semiquaver is the most complicated rhythm). On the youtube link there is the full score for you to assess suitability. It would be very suitable for concerts, contests, recitals, weddings as well as an incidental piece. There are 2 clarinet pages per part and the piano part has 6 pages- 5 minutes in length.Price is for the full score and all parts.

Once in motion, the seeds travel with the wind until they come to a final resting place on the ground below. This piece flows along in that vein of a seedling's windblown journey.Dandelion Wind has a slight Celtic feel to it, and it comes in at just over 1:30 if played at the suggested tempo. It turns out that the elixir was fake (just red wine), but it caused the two persons to realize that their love had always been real. My arrangement maintains this joyful, almost comedic, side of love's feelings. Following Ludovic's earlier piano arrangement I treat just three of the opera's many themes. I have altered and enriched some of the simplistic classical chord progressions. There are now numerous markings throughout, particularly in articulation. Each part requires accurate rhythms, and each part has some virtuosic extended patterned runs. The range for each instrument is wide-2 octaves plus a third. This piece is a fun way to show your technical skills in concert or audition/competition. Or useful anyplace that you want joyful melodrama (Donizetti's own description). Also works well for pre-wedding music if you prefer the humorous side of true love instead of the sappy stuff.

Published by JB Linear (A0.582192). John Field was born in Ireland in 1782. He was a fine pianist and has been known as one of the early originators of the Nocturne. His 18 Nocturnes for piano is composed in such a way as the melody is carried mostly by the right hand while the left hand produces a harmony figure. This makes these pieces likely ones to arrange as instrumental duets. What I had in mind was a set of pieces for a student playing the lead 1st part and their teacher playing the accompaniment. You will find the student or 1st part is similar in style and playing level as the slow etudes of the 32 Rose Etudes. There are 5 nocturnes in this setting. There is a score, however, due to page turns, the separate parts are more useful. Arranger's note: an accidental in one octave does not effect the same note in another octave,,,so an A# in a lower octave will be an A natural in a different octave.
