Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Soprano Sax, Woodwind Duet - Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Oliver König. Christian, Spiritual, Christmas, Children's Music. Set of Parts. 3 pages. Published by Oliver Koenig
Spanish Christmas Carol. The campanilleros are groups of traditional musicians who in the Spanish region of Andalusia and parts of Extremadura and southern Castile-La Mancha sing songs of a religious nature to the accompaniment of guitars, bells and other instruments. The bell-ringers' choirs sing the rosaries at dawn.
The processional march Pasan los campanilleros, composed in 1924 by Manuel López Farfán and which forms part of the repertoire for Holy Week in Andalusia, refers to these Andalusian musicians and includes a melody from their traditional repertoire.

Tenor Saxophone Duet Tenor Saxophone - Level 2 - SKU: A0.1151946 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Christmas,Classical,Instructional,...
(+)
Tenor Saxophone Duet Tenor Saxophone - Level 2 - SKU: A0.1151946 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Christmas,Classical,Instructional,March,Romantic Period. Score. 8 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #752153. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1151946). This arrangement adapted for tenor saxophone duo was designed to make its listeners weep with emotion, because the adaptation preserves the original essence of the work, keeping its integrity faithful to what Beethoven wanted to transmit, with only a slight change in tone and addition of harmonic resources in the structure of the arrangement. Even though it is a funeral march, it is well suited for any musical performance occasion, being intended for beginner students who want to immerse themselves in the universe of romantic music, and nothing better than starting with the transitional composer of this period, which also does not prevent professional teachers from using it for recitals, academic presentations or didactic material in their classes as an ensemble practice. Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor sharp, Op. 27, No. 2, is one of his most popular compositions and was an audience favorite even in his day. Written when Beethoven was 31, the Moonlight Sonata (Mondscheinsonate in German) was composed after he finished some commissioned works, but there is no evidence that he was hired to write this work. It did not receive its nickname until 1832, five years after Beethoven's death. It was the critic Ludwig Rellstab who compared the music to a moonlighting on Lake Lucerne. This comparison was adopted as a nickname for the work. Called Quasi una fantasia by the author - like its companion Op. 27, No. 1 - the piece was completed in 1801 and dedicated the following year to one of the composer's pupils. Beethoven chose to open the sonata with a slow, hypnotic arpeggio movement, the best known of the entire work. The dotted rhythm of its minimal melody evokes the tradition of 'Trauermusik' (funeral music).

Published by David McKeown (A0.588479). 7.40pm is a traditional Russian Jewish tune, often performed by Klezmer musicians. This version is arranged as a duet for two Alto Saxophones. It isn’t completely clear where the title 7.40pm comes from. One interpretation is that 7.40pm was the time the Odessa tram conductors finished work and danced to this tune. But there are versions titled 7.40am which may refer to the time of Jewish early morning prayers. Whatever the origin, there are several Russian recordings of 7.40pm that predate the 1917 revolution.7.40pm is simply arranged in a key and range best suited to the instruments. After a slow and expressively beginning, the melody switches to dance tempo. 7.40pm is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of a little over three minutes, this version of 7.40pm is perfect for recital and concert performances, both formal and informal. Baritone Saxophone Duet Baritone Saxophone - Level 2 - SKU: A0.1153405 Composed by Luigi Boccherini. Arranged by Ander. Baroque,Classical,Instructional,Traditional,Wedding. 2 scores. 4 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #753665. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1153405). This simple arrangement adapted for baritone saxophone duo was imagined for a group of beginner students who want to start their immersion in classical music, of course with the help of a teacher. Even though the original work is for strings, this did not prevent this beautiful adaptation, where the original essence of the work was maintained, being made only an adaptation of the tonality and some adaptations in the tessitura of the instruments. This piece can be used for professional and academic recitals, didactic material and repertoire for ensemble practice as well, which does not prevent professional musicians and instructors from using it for performances of their preference. Luigi Boccherini was born in the city of Lucca, in northern Italy. He studied cello and became a virtuoso who eventually moved to Spain, where he worked with the Spanish royal family for the rest of his life. His String Quintet in E major, Op. 11, No. 5, G 275, was written in 1771 and published in 1775, and is one of his most famous works. The quintet is famous for its minuet and trio, third movement which is often played as an independent piece outside the context of the full quintet. This is notably the most famous, it is in 3/4 time, in the key of E Major modulating to A Major. This is a beautiful work, and not just the third movement, with good partial writing for all. The lovely, flowing melodies and rhythms are typical of Boccherini. The quintet is suitable for both concerts and home performances.

Published by P. R. Frederick (A0.1472722). “La Palomais a popular Spanish song that has been produced and reinterpreted in diverse cultures, settings, arrangements, and recordings over the last 140 years. The song was written by the Spanish Basque composer Sebastián Iradier (later Yradier) around 1860 after a visit to Cuba. Iradier was to die in obscurity within few years, never to learn how popular his song would become. There are more than one thousand versions of this song, and together with Yesterday by The Beatles, is one of the most-recorded songs in the history of music; it is certainly the most-recorded Spanish songHere it is arranged as a saxophone duet for like saxophones.
