It was included on Joshua Rifkinâ€™s famous 1970 revival recording of Joplinâ€™s music and an orchestration featured on the soundtrack of the movie The Sting in 1973. This arrangement won an Oscar and reached No.3 on the US single charts. This version has been arranged as a duet for two Violas and includes all four sections of the original composition. The full length youtube performance and the short audio sample are both from the Clarinet version of this arrangement.Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances.
