Published in 1903, The Favorite is subtitled “A Ragtime Two-Stepâ€, which suggests a slower tempo to fit the two-step dance. This arrangement of The Favorite is arranged as a duet for one Clarinet and one Trumpet. Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances. It’s Been a Long Long Time is arranged as a duet for one Trumpet and one Clarinet.It’s Been a Long Long Time is best known to modern audiences as the song at the end Avengers: Endgame, where Steve Rogers, after seventy years, finally gets to dance with Peggy Carter. The song of course, is much older. Two versions of It’s Been a Long Long Time topped the charts in late 1945, and as US servicemen returned from Europe and the Pacific, it perfectly caught the mood of the times. The story goes he had some studio time left over after a session and the producer asked him if he had any other songs they could put on tape. When King sat at the piano and performed Stand by Me, the producer recognised a huge hit in the making. This version is arranged as a duet for one Trumpet and one Clarinet.Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances.
