The rhythms of Cuban Rumba have travelled all over the world, providing the foundations for Son and Salsa and the ballroom Rhumba among many other styles. If you play to an intermediate standard and upwards, then you and your audience will enjoy this piece. Shuffle rhythms can be found in the Swing music of Glenn Miller right through Rock’n’Roll, R’n’B and to the modern day.
