Gerda is artist in residence at St. Patrick’s Regional High School in Vancouver and serves as the artistic director for the Vancouver Cansing Community Choir, which she founded in 2010. Gerda's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music, a Kodály Teaching certificate, and a Master of Education with a focus on Kodály pedagogy.
