My father succumbed to lung cancer in 2007. Setting this poem helped me
through the grieving process. Bill Merideth was not a musician by trade, but did
enjoy playing the guitar every now and again. The accompaniment found in the
opening section represents some of the chords that he would strum in his recliner
after a hard week of work.
As the piece progresses, the accompaniment becomes more complex representing
the extensive chemotherapy that may have extended my father's life, but certainly
changed him. Finally, as the text brings us closer to death in the final stanza, the
accompaniment is now absent, representing my father's last days in hospice where
he could no longer care for himself.
I certainly believe in the healing power of music and hope that this setting brings
comfort and peace to you as it continues to do so for me.

By popular request, we now publish a separate edition of the opening chorus O Fortuna taken from the piano score (ED 2877) of the complete work. This new separate edition provides the opportunity to perform O Fortuna in a mixed concert.

I Have Been Redeemed energetically expresses the joy of having salvation in Christ by utilizing a familiar hymn text with a newly composed tune. It could be used as a call to worship or service opener. This choral setting is appropriate for any time of year.

With Zwei lateinische Marienmotetten for mixed a cappella choir (SATB) and interlude for organ or string quintet, Andreas Pieper has created two gems of Marian devotion which are perfect for being used in church services. The two four-part chants pay homage to the Virgin Mary and refer to two different solemnities of the Roman Catholic Church celebrated in her honour. Whereas Assumpta est Maria is a motet for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary on 15 August, Benedicta es tu, virgo Maria refers to the Feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrated every year on 8 December. Both choral settings can be easily mastered by ambitious church choirs, and the interlude and postlude for organ or string quintet of Assumpta est Maria, the easier one of the two motets, can be easily performed even by amateur musicians.

Nino Rota's Mass was composed in Rome in 1962, the very same year when the Second Vatican Council formally opened in 1962, whose fundamental changes regarding the use of liturgical music directly found expression in Rota's work: As a result, the anticipation of Christmas was to be expressed by pure a cappella works without accompaniment in the Advent season.

During his time as Master of the Queen's Music, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies wrote a new carol for Her Majesty the Queen each Christmas. Ave, Plena Gracia , written for Christmas 2009, was the fifth in this series after An Heavenly Song, Wonder Tidings, The Yule-tide Bell and Kings and Shepherds all of which are published in the Schott Royal Collection.

First performed in St. James's Palace by the choir of the Chapel Royal on the Epiphany at the end of the 2009/2010 Christmas period, Ave, Plena Gracia is a short and traditional Latin setting that would be perfect for amateur choirs looking for new repertoire.

Your choir will love singing this popular hymn-like melody by Chris Tomlin. It is artfully arranged by Michael Ware to fit the choral genre and includes an optional solo.
