With these arrangements, all the money sued to purchase these arrangements goes to special charity or cause . This specific arrangement is for Breast Cancer . This is something that 1 in 8 women will develop in their lifetime, and is special to me because I've had family members, friends and co-workers effected by this cancer. Generally speaking, for October, I would arrange so fun or scary Halloween song, however, October is Breast Cancer Awareness. I could not think of anything better to do than a beautiful arrangement , to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer. This well written, beautiful song by Kate Bush would make a great addition to your music library, something very different and memorable not only for a general audience , but especially for an event celebrating Women , for a breast cancer survivor, for friends and family also effected by this cancer , or a movie or tv themed concert because this song was featured in the movie in She's having a Baby :, to tv shows like Alias and recently in The Hand Maids Tale . This song was composed by Nahum Situmorang (1908 - 1969). He is a composer and musician. In his entire life, Nahum never worked as an employee of the Dutch colonial government. During his youth, he had won many song competitions, including Sumatra Keroncong Concours in Medan (1936). Nahum's skill in creating his own songs as well as singing them made many people admire him. Nahum is able to play a variety of musical instruments and has his own band. Nahum also often creates songs when in the middle of a crowd. Nahum was most prolific in composing songs from 1950 to 1960. Historically, Nahum has never married in his entire life. However, from several sources, Nahum stated that he once loved a woman but he did not reveal it. This song tells about the romantic story of a man who seduces the woman he loves. He fell in love at the first sight and tried to find out about the woman's family. This song is a collection of rhymes called Umpasa in Batak language. The lyrics of this song are closely related to the culture of the Batak tribe, especially about the family tree known as Tarombo. Men and women are not allowed to marry if both are of them are from the same descendant ( one surname / one family tree). Based on this culture, the song Da Natinitip Sanggar shows a man's curiosity about a woman's surname and her biological mother's surname to find out whether they came from the same family tree because if a woman's family name is the same as the man's biological mother's name, it is considered a mate. Otniel Simangunsong is a conductor and composer from Indonesia. He was born in Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra on August 19, 1996. Currently he is a conductor of Benedicamus Chante Choir - Darma Cendika Catholic University Student Choir, Surabaya. He has also got some supports from another professional conductors and composers. This Da Natinitip Sanggar song is packaged as a A Capella choral score which is Soprano, Mezosoprano, Alto, Tenor, Bariton, and Bass. The Agnus Dei is the final movement of Amy Beach‘s monumental Grand Mass in E-Flat Major, completed when Beach was 25 and first performed in 1892 by the Handel and Haydn Society orchestra of Boston. That group had never before performed a work by a woman. The critical acclaim which followed this milestone performance led to her being recognized as one of America’s foremost composers, and the 1890 publication of the vocal score was the first published major choral/orchestral work by an American woman.This edition omits the lengthy harp passages from the original and also shortens the introduction somewhat. An anthem composed by Philip le Bas especially suitable for church choirs during Lent (or Advent) and Holy Week. It might also be particularly suitable for Remembrance services.The Jacobean poet Phineas Fletcher’s passionate prayer of repentance is here set to music for SATB choir and organ. In a series of pulsating descending scales the author’s words express heartfelt remorse for his sins, reflecting the story of Jesus and the weeping woman in Luke 7:36ff. This is real, deep sorrow and regret, looking to the Prince of Peace for forgiveness: at one poignant moment the music reaches a point of stillness as the slow tears continue to fall. The weeping then turns to anger, crying for vengeance, because sin doth never cease. The music rises to an intense climax, but suddenly vanishes; the anger is, after all, self-directed. Finally the text returns to a prayer of supplication to drown all my faults and fears, and the harmonies end with a hope-filled hint of future healing. Drop, drop, slow tears, and bathe those beauteous feet, which brought from heaven the news and Prince of Peace. Cease not, wet eyes, his mercies to entreat; to cry for vengeance, sin doth never cease.
