Recently, I was asked to write an arrangement for choir of the fantastic track Heavenly Father by Bon Iver. The performance he gave at the Sydney Opera House in 2016 as part of Vivid Live, featuring The Staves, was so breathtaking that I immediately agreed to transcribe and arrange the song.

An earthy arrangement that features a soloist and some extra special choral effects, this tune is full of emotions and reaches an amazing climax that will wow your audience. Featured in the movie Wish I Was Hereby acclaimed director Zach Braff and scored for SATB Choir and soloist.

The performance Bon Iver delivered at the Sydney Opera House really took this song to a new level, giving it such emotion and power that takes your breath away. Utilising subtle body percussion and some exquisite voices, this video is a must watch if you wish to recreate the song at the highest level.

It's Only A Paper Moon - one of the Great American Songbook's most enduring standards is given a swing-choir treatment in this arrangement. It includes tight harmony, a wordless jazz vocal chorus, a very effective key change and jazzy piano accompaniment. It will be a favorite of singers and audience alike.

This beautiful song was a hit record for Patti Page in 1957 and remains a popular favorite from the Great American Songbook. This smooth SATB vocal with piano accompaniment will be a crowd pleasing selection wherever it is performed.

Originally recorded by the American rock band Extreme in 1991, this SATB w/ divisi a cappella arrangement adds a flavor of vocal jazz with a hint of Imogen Heap inspiration. While solos throughout are optional, this chart was written to feature the entire ensemble over highlighting a single voice. Also, a slower tempo, tight harmonies and softer dynamics will contrast nicely against the upbeat tunes in your set. Finally, ensembles may elect to snap or use some other form of body percussion to keep time while your vocal percussionist can take a much needed breather! Your audience will love this rendition of an iconic tune from the 1990's!

This is an arrangement of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah with LDS Christmas-themed lyrics. This is an excellent arrangement for a musical number on a Christmas-themed fireside.
